Overall a solid company with a very hard working team. I had an issue with communication at the beginning of my project, but a proactive manager quickly stepped in and resolved my frustrations. My new roof looks great and I am pleased with the final product.

In May, we got four quotes from different roofing companies and we ultimately went with North Star Constructions because they were professional, friendly, informative, and upfront with us about our roof replacement needs. It also helps that their quote was competitive with the other three companies. We had a great experience dealing with Russ (the owner) and his crew. They kept us in the loop with the progress of the project by emailing a summary of the work done that day as well as photos of the work. They also answered our questions fully and in a timely manner. We honestly didn't expect that level of communication and responsiveness from contractors in general. Their crew did a good job cleaning up at the end of each day. They worked their butts off through heat and rain to get the project done in four days, kudos! We would definitely recommend these guys to our friends and neighbors for roofing work.
