Great work fast and sufficient installation

Payment structure isn't comfortable for the customer. Getting a COI and a Lien Waiver were difficult, but 4 stars because they did come through on everything in the end.

I am slightly disappointed in the service work that has been provided lately. My one door is still not working properly and I have had someone attend to it now three times.

Basically lied to about what was yo be done and the job was left incomplete will never do business again with them hopefully the guarantee will be upheld, never use this company or refer this company to anyone you care about the are basically crooks.

I have tried for a week to get a copy of my contract and Universal's insurance info. I was told that the sales rep would get the approval from the HOA CONDO. He did not. The HOA president came to my door asking me if I got approval. I was very unhappy to find out this was not done. Now I have to get the approval after the fact. I need the contract and evidence I have left messages every no response!!!!!
At this point I will not recommend you ever.

Never received the Amazon card offered for scheduling a consultation. Salesman slow to respond if they respond at all with questions after the sale. No computer program to show what the various options of windows would look like on our home. Ballast in window was broke upon initial installation. Took 2 more visits and 6 weeks to have it fixed. Customer service was argumentative and offered nothing for poor experience and delayed call back to get the window fixed. Calls were ignored and not returned.

Salesman was professional and personable. Measurement was "kinda" okay, but since the install took about a month and a half to complete, obviously they were way over their head. Take out of the palladium window was excruciating to watch, since it didn't seem to me they knew what they were doing. And then.....the install !! They got the window in alright, but ALL the trim work on the outside looked TERRIBLE !! I asked about all the wrinkles in the outside trim, and the answer was "what do you expect with nails being hammered in" !!! Just VERY poor workmanship, and even worse customer interaction/treatment. The outside was finally finished to my satisfaction correctly by another worker some weeks later. Of course don't even try getting me to explain the trouble getting the INTERIOR trim of the window finished........but the entire window project [exterior and interior] was finally finished in approximately 1 1/2 months.....So.....from my perspective and my experience, I would NOT recommend !!

This install was for a new addition/ new construction windows. Sales guy Nick was nice and responded well to my questions and concerns after the sale. The guy that came out and measured the windows was knowledgeable and informed me if what was needed.

BUT the installation was not completed correctly to inspection code. On new installs, before new windows are installed, flashing tape should have been taped inside on the bottom of the window before the new windows were to be installed in order to pass inspections. If UWD does not provide this service, it should have been communicated to me prior to the install that that was something I need to provide myself by the install team or the guy that came out to measure windows. Being educated more in the inspection requirements would be beneficial for UWD install team.

I did not find out about this until after the windows were installed and did not pass inspection therefore I had to tape flashing tape around the windows to pass the inspection stage. I honestly feel that if the windows were to be installed by UWD that it should have been installed correctly to code. After all, for the price that I paid per window, over $5k for only 4 windows, I feel that it should have been installed correctly without me having to worry about taking that extra step.

From the initial presentation by the sales person to the scheduling to the measuring to the installation the company team was professional.

Despite living minutes away from their office, it took MONTHS to get an appointment for our door. And then they showed multiple times without any hardware or answers about where our items were.
