No surprises. What the quote said, we got. UWD contacted us regularly with updates and to make sure we didn't have any questions.

They did not do what they said they would do. Instead of replacing siding just slapped new stuff over it. Left extra supplies big boxes they need to pickup. Way to expensive for a cover up job.

From start to finish everything went seamlessly! Very organized company, as we loved how well we were kept informed from when the windows were being manufactured to when they arrived at the company to when they were to be installed. The technicians who installed moved quickly and were very professional.

The customer service was terrible. Had a hard time getting a hold of anyone. Trying to get callbacks in a timely fashion did not happen. The only person who did contact me back whenever I texted was Corey. He did try to help resolve all the issues. Carrie, who was supposed to be the one to return my calls for scheduling, etc. Was impossible to get in touch with.

Quick professional sales and installation.

The only person who has actually been helpful was our sales man John. The roofing people were also fine. The siding people did okay, but they messed up the trim around our new windows and smudge their caulk all over the ac unit. Communication with this company is also awful. The workers who come out don’t understand English and can’t understand the instructions they have been given which causes mistakes. They incorrectly cut a hole in our wall, broke glass, left nails in our yard, did a shoddy caulk job everywhere, broke a screen on our new window and still installed it, broke our garage sensor, our ac unit hasn’t worked properly since they left yesterday also. Now I have a technician coming out to fix that. We are missing plugs in our windows and they are dirty with smudges.

Universal Windows Direct provided a wonderful, seamless experience. The sales presentation was professional, and communication about the timeline was excellent. The installation crew was punctual, fast, and did a great job on my two storm doors. I loved the proactive follow-up to ensure I was completely happy. Highly recommend!
