Everything
Installers arrived promptly and did a quality job with our installation. Clean up was thorough.
I would recommend Billy and Ted, only, to be put on a project installing windows. They are true professional installers and finishers. Great personality, smiling and polite. Love them both.
Used pealoff tape instead of window moldings, then came out with window moldings too narrow to hide the rough sheet rock. Then they called and wanted to charge me $ 240.00 more.
the
the office is rude I would never recommend them to a friend, the installers were from out of country and spoke little English
Carlos and his team did a great job on the installation.
I liked how the process was professional from start to finish.
They were very professional. They cleaned up there mess when they were done. Very polite and courteous. I would recommend universal windows to anyone.
The 2 young men, Jake was one, don't remember other man's name, we're very nice, friendly, and efficient! I was able to be right there to search the process of installing my new windows!
I am very happy with my newly installed Universal Windows. The salesman was very informative and prompt to my inquiry. The window installation went smoothly and I could not ask for better windows.
We liked the window quality, looks and lifetime warranty.
No one at this time.
Jake was knowledgeable and made sure I understood all the details. He took his time and demonstrated everything. Very nice fellow.
I called to get a quote because of an ad for a free front door or 12 months no interest and no payments. I got neither! My front door was just slightly too large for the replacement. The salesman was supposed to call me several days later to tell me if the cost of the door would be deducted from the total since that was part of the offer. He totally ghosted me. The 12mo no interest no payments apparently only applies if you pay the windows off within 1 or which makes no sense! The installers were goid and the windows are nice, so that got you back up to a 5.
I have not enjoyed anything about this process. The sales felt pressured and now the windows are more noise than the ones I had prior to my purchase which I will not call an upgrade at this point.
The whole process was very easy and they did a nice job
Overall the quality of the windows seem high end, with a high price.
Salesperson was rather pushy, using tactics at the end such as “if you bought these windows, would it take food off the table?” Or “the price is locked in now, and will only go up.”
There was no catalogue to pick out or see what we were getting, it was “a a sliding door would be best here, what finish do you want, white or black?” And I didn’t know what anything looked like. There were sample windows to show off the quality, but you never see what they’d look like.
The contract has 3 days to back out without penalty, which we ended up making our mind up after that since we have a young baby. We ended up getting one door done, instead of just taking the penalty fee that was a % of the total order.
The company didn’t communicate very well.
The installer was phenomenal: friendly and very good at his trade.
The quality of the windows are impeccable
I have tried to get ahold of your company but a recording says there is no one to help me. I left a message on July 3rd but no on has contacted me as of today. I left a message today again I can not speak to anyone. I had to leave a message 7
Answered all questions, professional and not pushy, able to get discounts to make bit affordable.
This is our second major project with Universal Windows direct, the first being the replacement of patio doors several years ago. We have been so pleased with those that we didn't go further when we were looking for replacement windows. Our two patio doors and ten first floor windows that have been replaced so far are beautiful and work like a dream. The quality is exceptional. We are looking forward to the final phase of replacing 11 windows on our second floor.
We have been extremely pleased with our sales rep, Rob Ashurst. His knowledge and experience about the product, the company, and construction in general was a rare and refreshing find in home improvement salespeople. Rob had to jump through extra hoops for the building permit due to the historic status of our 1860s home, and we truly appreciated his extra work and perseverance. He has communicated with us thoroughly throughout the entire process.
In addition, our installation team of Eric and his assistant (Ryan?) was exceptional. Eric told us he was a long-time employee of the company (20+years) and his experience and pride in the product showed. So rare to find such exceptional people on a home improvement project.
We highly recommend calling Rob Ashurst at Universal Windows Direct of Cleveland for replacement windows.
Placing an order was quick and easy with sales person. When windows came in they were installed in a professional and a quick and easy manner. Thank you as always from us to Universal Windows Direct. Great Job !
It seemed that the regional manager was super interested and talkative when he wanted to give me a deal so good I couldn’t refuse. As soon as I signed the contracts i felt totally ghosted.
Working with UWD exceeded my expectations. You can tell they take the time to really present all the available options, especially our salesman Matt Rosen. The turnaround time on from ordering to measuring was so quick and John did a great job when measuring and suggesting our bathroom window options. Delivery and install was much faster than the estimated timeframe! Our installers Nate, Nate and Dustin did a very nice job. They worked efficiently and also were accommodating to my meeting schedule when doing my office windows. They took extra time on our front door to ensure everything looked perfect.
Prices are outrages, installers have been fine but multiple issues brought them back out to fix things.
We are very happy with the quality and look of our new windows! Would recommend them to anyone!
good company
Not finished yet.
Stand by their product.
Everything was good
Once the salesman gets you to sign the paper, that’s the last time you’ll ever hear from Universal windows. It was just one disappointment right after another.
As long as you don’t notice anything after you’ve paid or have any questions, they are fine, but I’ve been waiting for someone to contact me for over two weeks now about why the sill on one window is bowed and why I was told one window would be wrapped on certain parts and it isn’t and no one is contacting me back.
Your company CALLED ME MULTIPLE TIMES, OFTEN ON THE SAME DAY, FOR PAYMENT. However, when your installers did not show nor call for the installation, no discount was given or offered to me. I took off work and your no show put my project a week behind schedule which is very costly. The day and the time of installation was confirmed by you. You had NO PROBLEM hounding me for payment, but you couldn't call to say you were delayed or that it needed to be rescheduled. I had to CALL you to find out what was the issue was.
Timely and professional. Very well executed.
Communication from consultation to installation day.
The trim on the door install was not very well done. The trim on one of the windows was removed. We were told it would be installed later and still have not heard on timing.
So much information was not told to us when we bought them. We were told that a storage fee would be charged to us if we had to wait to install and we had to start paying for the windows before we even had them
Very professional, courteous, friendly and answers all questions. On time and knew what they were doing.
Quality windows
You have had to return too many times for things that should not have been an issue. One window was measured wrong, one had a dented sill, the spackling was finished, they a screw in to tight that was buckling our siding and could have called us when a repair window came in broken and you had to reschedule instead of coming out just to replace the one with the dented sill.
Have all the correct windows on scheduled installation day.
We e called left messages and never got a redponse

Installers need to better respect the home. Wear shoe coverings so not to track mud in the house. Installers need to clean up outside, remove empty sealant tubes, insulation and other debris. Cover area floors with work tarps. Leave the home as clean as when arrived
👍🏻
