They did chimney cap and tuck pointing. Work was done well but could have used more communication between quote/inspection person and implementation team on where exactly they wanted tuckpointed, there was some confusion.

Looking for tips for a ceiling fan installation

In all honesty, hire a professional electrician. They will know how to install the right equipment to be sure your fan remains where it belongs and is safely wired. Good luck!
