How do I get a home builder to be accountable for poorly graded yard? I have water for weeks at a time every time it rains. They refuse to do anything.

Jie,  Since you are not getting satisfaction from your builder, I would take all of your documentation to your city or county permit office (call ahead to determine who to speak with).  Standing water ... read more
How difficult to replace a rotted 6x6 PT support post for 2nd floor deck? Other materials that are less likely to rot?
Not a difficult job at all. Depending on the details it can be done in a half a day. More details - more time.
