The delay in writing this review was largely due to personal circumstances. Nathan and his team initially provided outstanding service during the mitigation of our home after the flooding, and for the first few weeks, it appeared that the renovation process would proceed smoothly. However, after two months of inactivity, Nate and his associates ceased all communication regarding the renovation. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out, including an unexpected encounter with Nate at Lowe's, I found myself taking on the entire renovation of my living room and kitchen while balancing work and school commitments. Although the project took significantly longer than it would have with professionals, perhaps this outcome was for the best.
I was not entirely taken aback by the lack of communication, as Nate frequently mentioned a larger project at a firehouse that seemed to overshadow our smaller job. This constant reference felt unprofessional, almost implying that our home renovation was of lesser importance. While we understood that they had other commitments and accepted the extended timeline, it was surprising that a company focused on mitigation and renovation would overlook such a straightforward opportunity, especially since the insurance would cover the costs. I would love to share pictures of the completed work, which my wife and I are pleased with. In a somewhat petty gesture, I sent Nate photos of the finished project on the one-year anniversary of the incident, though I suspect he neither cared nor remembered who I was.

I am very pleased with the services rendered by SERVPRO of Rocky Mount. I found all the staff to be very caring and understanding of the stress involved with my situation. Everyone helped make the reconstruction of my kitchen and breakfast area much more palatable than I expected it to be.
