I had issues with the order. They ordered the wrong product. My doors were ordered in October and I didn't get it until February. They also installed windows, and I am having issues with the living room window. I took temperatures on cold days, and I am getting a reading of 45 to 50 degrees, and it is unacceptable for a new window.
The biggest disappointment is that we were expecting the product to be delivered in July 2022. We ordered it in May, and they said it would take 8 weeks. The product was not installed until February. That is about 7 months after they said they would install it.
NESCO is the “real deal!!” These guys know their craft and provide a quality product and superior workmanship.
I say this as an individual with a substantial amount of construction knowledge- I was a Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic for (roughly) 25 years.
To anyone who is seeking remodeling work to their home- I HIGHLY recommend this company!!!
The entire team from the sales, office and installers were pleasant, professional and efficient.
There were three gentlemen including a trainee. They were very knowledgeable, and they explained things we weren't sure about. They took a lot of time to go over everything with us. It was a very nice presentation. I was in need of a door, and their doors look great, so we decided to go with them.
If I could put no stars I would. Having ordered my kitchen window in July and having it just installed in January was completely unacceptable. I have no problem at this juncture yet with the window. But I have to wait to pass judgment on it after it's been in for a while especially after having read other reviews about poor quality product. However the experience with NESCOR employees from the get-go has been horrendous. From the ridiculously long sales pitch to the lies about the installation day and the lack of customer service and communication would never allow me to recommend this company. I would never recommend this company to anyone
The price was far too much. The work crew left a mess, I am still cleaning up nails, plastic tabs and pieces of old shingle. My neighbor did the same for an hour. On the day after the project was finished, one of their workers took pictures of many black shingle markings on our new paint job, saying he'd report the problem ... then I heard nothing from them about fixing the blemishes. From start to finish, one of their project officials was stubborn and did not listen to my suggestions and clarifications when doing an amended contract. When the project was completed, I requested a digital receipt needed for a Massachusetts home audit agency to schedule a visit. I have heard nothing. However, the workers up on the roof were diligent and did a neat job.
My windows and doors are fantastic; they are of excellent quality.
Crew was on time and professional. Explained what they were going to do and did it. Cleaned up after the job was complete and if someone I know needs the services you provide I would recommend that they listen to your presentation.
This is the worse home improvement experience I’ve ever had. It started with multiple delays broken promises. Multiple requests to talk to a supervisor went on deaf ears I will NEVER use this company again
I held off several months on writing this review to ensure that I had a good assessment of my new exterior door install and the changes its made. The quality of the materials of the door are very high, and it was installed very snugly with a tight seal. The workmen were polite and efficient, and cleaned up all the installation mess. They were also able to rehang my screen door (part of the quote) after the new door install, and it too is better installed then it has ever been. I have already recommended NESCOR to several friends.
Very nice door
They were very thorough and communicative. They were very clear about expectations and timelines. They did a really good job cleaning up. They did a nice job onsite and were respectful of the property while they were there.
Work was done in a timely fashion
Definitely and have.
Awesome service. Overly expensive.
I was happy with the quality of the product but not the communication in regards to workers showing up.
I was so happy with everything, from beginning to end.
During the roofing project, two issues came up which we wish had been dealt with differently. First, the removal of layers of old roofing left an unsightly gap between the siding and the new roof around all of our dormer windows (five total). This gap, which looks like raw wood, was simply left without any attempt to improve it. We were also not informed of the problem or asked for input. We will have to hire another professional to finish the project. Another unsightly roofing solution was made without our knowledge where the low roof of the addition meets the siding of the rest of the house. Instead of tucking the necessary flashing underneath the siding, a black strip of flashing with a metal strip above that was applied OVER the siding, even necessitating the cutting in half of one of our antique and decorative corbels to make room for this ugly patchwork.
We have asbestos siding, which fact was discussed during our in-person meeting before we signed the contract. We were told that the company "knows how to deal with asbestos." To us that meant that the company was skilled and licensed in the removal and replacement of asbestos tiles, when necessary for the completion of a roofing project. What the company meant by that statement was: "we are not licensed to deal with asbestos and so we do not touch asbestos at all." We definitely should have pressed the issue to find out exactly how they would "deal with" our asbestos siding. If we had been told, for example, that no attempt would be made to remove enough siding to invisibly flash where the low roof meets the outer wall, we probably would not have signed the contract. Our home is 140 years old and the aesthetic of the whole matters to us.
We don't want to be the modern homeowners who mar a piece of history out of convenience.
When we complained about the state of the house at the completion of the project, we were told that the roof was watertight and nothing would be done by the company to address purely aesthetic issues. We were told that our contract did not include any siding work. The contract in question was written by hand in two minutes by the customer liaison during our meeting and did not include any technical details about how the project would be completed whatsoever. We wish we had been consulted during the construction phase as issues were being faced. We wish the team had been more transparent with us about their technical and legal ability to deal with asbestos. We wish the company had been more proactive in finding an appropriate solution to our concerns as we brought them up.
Great people to work with and exceptional product and workmanship
Very professional, and pleasant to have do the work on my house.
They were very easy to work with.
NESCOR did a great job.
They did a great job !!!
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.

Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of NESCOR as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
