Long Homes made our walk in shower install very easy. They cleaned up wirk areas and our shower is beautiful.

From the initial meeting with Wolfgang, with him offering more discounts, and going the extra step to get them. The work ethic and professionalism of the installers.

I was told this would occur in one day. It took two. I was originally offered a color for the grout. After placing my down payment I was told it wasn’t available. I was told I would be given a handheld adapter as a “bonus”. It never came. Only tease for the two stars is that it does work although not what I was told I would get for what I paid.

I felt abandoned after my shower was removed! Three weeks-3 weeks- I had to muttle thru a nightmare with no guidance or help. I felt like I had hired a scam artist and I was going to be stuck with a shell of a shower! And out an initial $500!! 😢😳🤬😢😭 It cost me so much in my health response!

I still feel it’s a bit pricey but I suppose that’s reflective of the times

I think we paid more than we needed to. I would warn a friend to check their options with a carpenter prior to along home consultation to be sure they are getting an honest price.

Great phone service with sales and different apartments. The onset crew was good. They were clean they were polite. The only issue I had was nobody spoke english and it was difficult to communicate or ask questions. I have no problem with the crew, but there should have been at least one person that could speak and translate.

They have a nice selection of products with many options in each choice. When the workers came they did a very good job and they cleaned up after themselves. They kept us advised of when materials would be received and once received they call to get the project started asap.

The installation of our walk-in shower was expertly done and makes a fine impression. HOWEVER, the shower floor, even though it’s textured, is very slippery when wet. If the soles of your feet are soapy, it’s like trying to skate on ice. The fold-down seat, made of some kind of composite, is likewise slick, and if your bottom is soapy, it’s very easy to slide off. Teak slats should be offered instead, but they are not. The hand-held shower head, does not have a button allowing you to shut off the water. That is wasteful. It is also Moen’s fault, not Long Home’s fault, but the latter should not offer it, or at the least it should make that clear. The impression one gets overall is that the company offers second-tier options so it can beat the competition’s price point. You’re not given enough information to know what you’re buying, and then you get the “buy it today or lose the discount” pitch that discourages comparison shopping. (Of course, the competition does it too.)

I’ll be saying the same things every chance I get.

I loved working with Long Home. Everyone i dealt with was kind, courteous and helpful. The crew was thoughtful, careful and did their best to limit the mess! I love my finished bathroom!

The installers were very informative, explained everything they were going to do, placed drop clothes all over to keep the house clean, took out all the trash and replaced everything as it was before. Upon completion they showed us how everything operated, when it was ok to use, what materials to use for cleaning. They were very professional.

The Long family name has a great reputation. The products, installation, warranty, and customer service are top notch!

The initial interaction with the salesman was good. He explained the work well and helped us understand the costs and what our options were. The installation itself was done professionally and efficiently and the installers were fantastic. The only thing we would have preferred different would have been more communication between when we agreed to the project and when it was installed.
