From beginning to end my experience with Long Home was positive. They took care of plumber, electrical problem and they were easy to connect with if I had a question.
Well I didn't think the quality of work done was worth the amount I paid the drywall they put up was thinner than what I had up so there was a noticeable difference. The door on the right side of the sink base was not the same height as the matching door when they were done my toilet didn't fill right, they tried to say it was fine so I ended up just asking them to leave and fixed it myself.

I had my roof replaced on 10/20/25. The crew did a good job (I think, I'm not a roof expert). On 10/23, the project manager emailed me photos of the work and said via email, "you will be receiving a paid-in-full receipt and the warranty once the project has been closed. You will also be receiving a warranty in the mail from Certainteed once our legal department registers the roof with them."
I emailed the project manager on 11/17 (four weeks after the project was completed), letting her know I had not received the paid-in-full receipt or the warranty. As of 11/22/25, she has not replied.
I contacted customer service (customersupport@longhome.com) on 11/20, and so far (11/22), no response.
I understand that maybe it takes longer than a month to get the final documentation to the customer. What I don't understand is the inability to take two minutes to respond to an email, and it worries me that this may mean that if I ever have any issues with the roof, it will not be easy getting a hold of anyone at Long Home.
Every Long Home team member including the product specialist, the scheduler, the project supervisor, the installers, were nothing short of knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I would definitely use their products and services again.
My suggestion would be purely based on cost.

Very little update on the status of the work schedule was provided. Also did not get a detailed explanation of the cost and what was covered until phoning and requesting this information. Also the original loan payment did not process. I was not notified and had to call. The accounting dept. had the account charged number written incorrectly.
All went smoothly and according to plan. I had some scheduling comittements and these were acknowledged with care. All were kind and treated me as if I was the only one that they had to deal with at any time.
The quality and beautiful shower update makes my home look and feel like a whole new home

The rotten SOFFITS were not replaced....Mike Lyons allocated up $11 grand for wood replacement....The new wood did not come close to that estimate. He even pointed out where he could poke a hole in the wood.......that area was patched. The house is over 60 years old....that wood needed replacement.
Long Home did a wonderful job. My wife and I are very happy. Everyone was professional and top-notch. We have no complaints at all.
