While we do like our sunroom, it was a big hassle and required a lot of project management on my end to keep everything on schedule and know what was going on. I felt like the project manager had too much on his plate or wasn't organizationally minded (for example, not ordering the interior door when doing final measurements).

We contacted Kool View in early May and signed a contract with them shortly after. My birthday is on the 4th of July and I asked if it was possible to have it completed by that time as my entire family would be home to celebrate the holiday. The porch was completed as promised. I was also impressed by the workmanship and professionalism of the entire staff. Whenever we had a question, we could call Al and he always resolved any issue to our satisfaction.

I actually contacted another company prior to checking with Kool View. While I was impressed with their product as well, I was told that it would be a minimum of 12 weeks before they could even begin the project. That meant we would not have had access to it this summer. I then looked online for other seasonal porch installers and found Kool View as another option.

We absolutely love our porch! Only wish we had done it sooner. My husband and I are both retired. We used to use our sunroom off the kitchen to have our coffee and read the paper each day. Now our porch has become our new haven. We enjoy the feeling of being outside without having to deal with any of the negative elements associated with weather. We plan to buy some type of heater for the area so that we can enjoy this porch for the majority of the year. Thank you Kool View. We are definitely happy with our purchase!

They did the windows. They are really nice and with the siding, they blended it right in with the house. They did a nice job. The electrician did a good job. It all worked out good.

I was not pleased with the amount of time it takes for completion. We had four inspections, so the work had to stop until the inspection was complete. There were delays because of the inspections. We also had other work going on during our project.

Kool View ordered the wrong windows to begin with, then there were issues with the city building inspector. We were told the windows would all be the same. Then the windows were not the same after re-order. The screens did not match after the re-order.
