Just the thought of having so many workmen in my house makes me nervous, wondering what will be broken in the process, but the professionalism and expertise of the Crase team diminished that feeling.

I have used lots of contractors over the past 30 years and Jon R. Crase Construction, Inc. is the best by far! They are exceptional in every way. The quality, service, responsiveness, friendliness and attitude are the best I have ever experienced. Two of my favorite things are 1. The home owner is always "the boss" (so refreshing). If something isn't right (which rarely happens) they fix it immediately with a smile and positive attitude. And 2. The response time to texts/phone messages is super fast...usually in less than an hour. Wonderful experience all the way around.

We cannot thank Jon, Scott and John (and the exceptional staff) enough for the determination and hard work of moving through a complicated insurance claim to delivering on budget and schedule with exceptional workmanship. They worked hard to be the bright spot in 16 months of frustration. I cant imagine what we would have done without having them on the project. The Bay Area economy makes good contractors delivering great value almost non existent. Crase is the exception to that situation. At the end of the project, we were practically family.

Jon Crase handled the replacement of our wood floor and repair of drywall on the walls. They were tremendous in being very responsive whenever I had questions and were perfectionists in making sure everything was done properly. They checked in frequently to let me know what was happening. Eric Sullivan led the team and he was professional, approachable and right on the mark! He also helped us in communicating with and keeping the insurance adjuster informed.

They give good advice, answer every question, provide very detailed bids so you know exactly what to expect. They respond quickly and efficiently should you change your mind or add a thing or two. Jon's people have been with us through two arson fires, a new ceiling in our shop, adding a second floor bath, rebuilding a leaking roof, restoring the foundation plate to our home after a termite attack and rebuilding our back deck. Our first experience with Jon R. Crase Construction was to reconstruct our Eichler after a fire took out our laundry, kitchen, and all electrical infrastructure. As such, it was a very complex job and there was no way to know at the beginning exactly what the job might entail. Crase's employees were courteous, showed great attention to detail, and responded to the inevitable unexpected issues in a timely fashion. With such a complex project, there were many sub-contractors involved. All but one were extremely professional and produced excellent quality work. The one who did not, a painter, was immediately replaced and Crase brought in a new crew that completely fixed the issues caused by the original sub-contractor without any impact on schedule.We have no hesitation in recommending Jon R Crase Construction to our friends and we will be hiring Crase for some future repair work.
