Have already recommended Harth to family and friends.
Highly recommend Chris Lux!
They were far over time, multiple things were done incorrectly
We genuinely enjoyed working with everyone on our team, and have recommended Harth to several people (some of whom became current clients)
The entire process was professional and pleasant
Employees & Subcontractors - Without exception, the entire team was outstanding
Additional Comments - It took longer than I had expected, but the end result is everything we had hoped for.
Harth Builders made it easy to get my small project completed. They communicated and were on time, and the work they did was of top quality.
While I am overall happy with the look of our renovation, I am disappointed in the communication throughout the construction process. I had several emails that went unanswered. When our project manager was on vacation, no one stepped in to really oversee the project, drive it forward, or sub in to have the weekly meetings with us. Our original timeline was completely inaccurate. There were many days where work could have been done and nothing occurred. I also had to remind our project manager about an item that was in the project scope and he didn't know - this is unacceptable and I should not have to be chasing someone to follow through on the scope of work.
Harth Builders was very professional and very responsive to our needs.
I would recommend Harth for quality of service, quality of end product, timeliness of completion and as a full-service provider. However, I would let friends know that pricing is on the high end.
Yes! Very professional company, qualified, friendly worker, knowledgable staff
Quality Of Workmanship - Excellent work, efficient, tidy
Additional Comments - Impressive company. Will be calling again for future projects, home repair.
Expertise - Mine was a time-and-materials project with objectives and specs defined by me. Harth's expertise in helping to acquire accurate measurement for obstructed material to be replaced and in installing the replacement pieces fabricated to those measurements by a third party were exemplary. No real project management was required, but because of the accuracy of our measurements the installation only required one day instead of the expected two - saving money while achieving excellent results.
Problem Resolution - Irregular stone wall profile required some unexpected shaping of the rear of replacement sill apron onsite during installation. Harth carpenters adapted in stride.
Creative Solution - Not really applicable for design; but creative and sound adaptations during installation into 1934 window openings were impressive.
Additional Comments - All the Harth carpenters were personable, skilled, and great to work with,
Additional Comments - Great experience during the design phase
Additional Comments - The whole team has been professional and a pleasure to deal with
Additional Comments - Harth has been great, and will definitely look to hire again for any future projects
Initial conversations were impressive and promising. Through the early phases prior to investing in the design deposit, I felt heard and aligned with the harth team. However, once we started design selections, I kept asking where our selections were relative to my $150k budget ceiling. I was told we’d get to budget… not to worry about it yet. Every time.
After we had spent months on the design, we were finally presented the budget for our project: $250k. It was a bad experience to say the least.
The team had put custom cabinets in the proposal with other higher end pieces we didn’t need, and never asked for over a more budget friendly alternative . I wish the team had been transparent about selections early on so we could’ve said what we should be looking at, and warned against what to not add to the scope of work. I eventually had to convince harth to take the custom cabinets down to standard, which was frustrating again.
So many things turned into a negotiation that should’ve just been a conversation - but it felt like things were often considered 3 stages too late. Even the guys who did the project on site said we started the project before the kitchen was even delivered…. It was not what we were sold on.
I think Harth builders is A + …my only slight hesitation in recommending it to everyone is I think that it’s on the higher end in terms of costs, however I do think you get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny but not everybody would be OK with paying more money.
Expertise - Everyone was wonderful! Amazing design, great project team, any concerns were always immediately addressed… really wonderful, professional team of designers and contractors
Schedule - Couple unforeseen snafus but worked hard at schedule! End result was amazing!
Construction Quality - A couple small adjustments had to be made but the team was right on it and as a client I felt “heard” ….never felt that any questions were ignored or went unanswered. Great communication!
Communication - Harth Buildes team consistently kept up with great update and answered all questions promptly
Problem Resolution - Small issues arose as with any hone and the team was right on it .. everything solved with great communication and cooperation.
Clean & Safe - My only 2 cents would be to invest in a large quantity of some higher quality drop clothes … would save a little extra work in the end.
Employees & Subcontractors - Everyone was top top notch !
Trust - They have proven to me that they will be there and address any concerns
Punchlist - All good! B
Work Done Right - Some issues with subcontractors but everything was addressed and corrected
Selection Process - Love all the finished work !
Final Design - Absolutely thrilled with the final results. Just beautiful!!!
Creative Solution - Very helpful with finding great options which helped keep me within range of the budget
Areas Of Satisfaction - I loved the team. Everyone is so kind and clearly care deeply about the quality of their work and their craftsmanship and profession. Just great people
Client For Life - I am a repeat client!
Better Service - I think it would be really good if there was a designated day when the project leader actually went over how everything works with you like actually shows you how the dishwasher works. Shows you how the washer and dryer work …I’ve had a little bit of trouble, figuring out how to work the washer and dryer, I was provided with all of the instruction manuals, but I think just a once over to familiarize you with your new products would be helpful. I realize that’s additional time but I personally think that that would be kind of helpful.
Change Anything - I really don’t think I would’ve changed everything. I’m just thrilled with the final result.
Additional Comments - I think you’re all wonderful and I mean that!!! Thank you for everything 💞 ( ps this Anita not Corky)

Additional Comments - I would not use any other contractor!
Thus far, I am very happy with the care and attention provided to my project. I have no reason to believe the job will not be completed in scope and effectively.
Additional Comments - Harth Home Services is a very good builder and very professional. Harth Builders came through very well. The only negative was that the cost of the design for the ramp was a little high.
Employees & Subcontractors - Everyone was professional and courteous to deal with
Additional Comments - I enjoyed working with Harth Builders. I found them knowledgeable, efficient, timely and overall a pleasure to work with.
Excellent organization and communication with clients. High quality craftsmanship and design. Friendly, supportive, and accommodating staff in both design and build processes.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Communication and problem solving by project manager and Harth carpenters. Outstanding craftsmanship in carpentry, tile installation, and painting. Memorably excellent work on the design process by Amy, Jen, and Katie P; Excellent work on the build process by Chris, Jeff, Brian, and Tim. Scott was an excellent subcontracted worker.
Client For Life - Harth would definitely be the first place we would start to look when home repairs and/or renovation is needed.
Additional Comments - The remaining projects for our home are smaller scale, and we would likely be inquiring with Harth Home Services for them. Keeping costs competitive with other quality contractors would ensure that we continue choosing Harth for this work.
Expectations & Improvements - My expectations were met, and there's not much to improve.
Definitely will and have recommended Harth to friends. Family, friends and all those who have had an occasion to come in to addition have commented how amazing it looks and feels and the quality of the workmanship
Employees & Subcontractors - All the employees and subcontractors were the best. From the project manager, Kevin Heayn, Construction manager Rodney Beatty, architect Tyler Gilbert and design consultant Suzanne Zukowski to plumbing, heating, electrical contractors - all are part of an A-team.
Selection Process - Suzanne Zukowski provided excellent guidance through the selection of all the pieces needed for my project
Final Design - Tyler Gilbert understood what my finished project needed to be and planned it perfectly
Creative Solution - On several occasions the team needed to find solutions to unexpected issues and did it perfectly
Areas Of Satisfaction - The overall design of the project and how it fits my needs is the best
