They never sold you something you didn't need. You could trust that they were doing what was right for you and the project. It was going to be fabulous, and it was going to stand the test of time.

Work Done Right

Work Done Right - We did have one problem along the way. Pieces were installed that had not been noted to be cut down in size. It was obvious by the end of the day that it was not right and couldn't stay the way it was. The team may have had to face this issue, but I still gave them 4 stars because they made it right! Even though it meant ripping some things out and reordering pieces, they got it on right away. We had to make a couple adjustments and concessions, but they made it work and made it to my satisfaction.

Value

Value - Harth is not cheap. Because they hire a team of only the best, you pay for the best. And since a project is a project, you are always going to run into problems and delays. And sometimes you have to monitor the work yourself. So paying that premium price sometimes feels like it was overpriced. What you are paying for is peace of mind and knowing that it will be right and it will stay right for many years to come.

Additional Comments - Harth Builders did a good job. For this, they just came in and did a patch job on our ceiling leak just to get us by. They were clean and functional. Their contractors who came in and did the work actually sold us on doing the now, bigger project, that will be done over the summer. Harth Builders made it easy to get my small project completed. They communicated and were on time, and the work they did was of top quality.

While I am overall happy with the look of our renovation, I am disappointed in the communication throughout the construction process. I had several emails that went unanswered. When our project manager was on vacation, no one stepped in to really oversee the project, drive it forward, or sub in to have the weekly meetings with us. Our original timeline was completely inaccurate. There were many days where work could have been done and nothing occurred. I also had to remind our project manager about an item that was in the project scope and he didn't know - this is unacceptable and I should not have to be chasing someone to follow through on the scope of work.

Harth Builders was very professional and very responsive to our needs.

I would recommend Harth for quality of service, quality of end product, timeliness of completion and as a full-service provider. However, I would let friends know that pricing is on the high end.
