If you are considering Gulf Coast Restoration Services for any work in your home or place of business I can not stress enough that hiring this company will be a disastrous decision.

I had experienced a leak in my shower that require the entire shower to be torn out and rebuilt. Working through my insurance company GCR was the vendor they referred me to.

I met with a representative of GCR in February 2019. He came to look at the shower and became my main contact for the project. Over the next 9 months, yes 9 months GCR tried to put in a new shower. The incompetence of this organization in trying to get proper permitting done, handling subcontractor workmanship and overall organization of work scheduling is evident in that they were never able to finish the project. In October a decision had to be made to start all over and hire a new company for the shower redo.

Try to picture the Three Stooges or Laurel & Hardy handling a construction job and it will give you a sense of Gulf Coast Restoration. This is not an exaggeration.

My recommendation is to do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. “Caveat Emptor”.

They went above and beyond working within the timeline of the hurricane. There was a murder in the house and they did a good job of getting the work done on the timeline that we needed.

The subcontractors and workmen were very good and the workmanship was generally good, but the overall project supervision, including scheduling and communication, was abysmal.

Very professional, on time, explained the process well, and did a great job of taking care of water damage from roof leak; and placing tarp on the roof. Excellent job on the roof! It was weeks before the roofer was finally able to replace the roof, Gulf Coast Restoration and Construction did such a quality work on roof it probably could have stayed on longer!! (We were worried the wind and heavy rain would be too much for the tarp, and we'd have water leak again, but it didn't happen, and we've had a number of heavy rain and strong wind.)
