Joe and Krystal Haynes do not take their work to heart. They only care about the money. Joe is unable to have a conversation with a homeowner and conduct a proper walk through. Krystal appeared to be on drugs the first time I met her. Here is an example of our conversation:
Krystal: What color do you want your cabinets?
Me: White
Krystal: Light grey or dark grey
The walk-through led to confusion throughout the entire project. I asked questions that were not answered. I was told they would get back to me or we would talk about it later. As the project went on and my questions were not getting answered, I started getting extremely frustrated. At the beginning of the project, I offered to empty my cabinets. Krystal told me not to empty my cabinets. As they started demoing, Krystal texted me that my things in the cabinets were in the way. She asked if she could throw them out. I immediately responded that I wanted the items and not to throw them away. I offered to empty the cabinets again. Krystal said it was not necessary. I realized that my stuff was missing. I tried to speak to Krystal about it. I was never given an explanation. Joe took his wife Krystal off my project and Krystal never told me what happened to my things. Joe tried to gaslight me and tell me that I moved them or they were stolen. Joe then said I was paying 32,000 dollars and not to bother him with minor details. He then said I demeaned him and was disrespectful. I don't think anyone would have a good reaction to this situation.
Aside from that, Joe can't install floors. His father in law Fernando did not cover my kitchen floor and caused many scratches while installing new cabinets. Joe "filled them in." I stated I wanted the floor replaced. He came one day for two hours, left and then called me an hour later to say he was done. I immediately came up and he was long gone. He then told me he had left an hour ago. I told him the floor was unacceptable and not approved. He refused to fix it. When painting, they don't use tape and the finished product looks terrible.
In general, many things were not discussed and Joe just did whatever he wanted. I had to beg, plead and finally demand answers. Working with Joe is like working with a spoiled teenager.
I loved working with Carson Closets. They worked within my budget and they did an awesome job. They followed up with me afterward to make sure I was satisfied. Anytime I need a closet or pantry done I will be calling Carson Closets. In fact, I've already recommended him to a few of my neighbors and... more
Everyone was very courteous and everything was on time like they said. I would highly recommend them.
I am very impressed with the windows, and the company as a whole. Good workmanship all the way around. It was a good experience, and I previously had a different company do other windows in my home, but I wish Tundraland did the whole house. They are top notch!
