In December 2021, A to Z Roofing and Exteriors performed a complete replacement of my dimensional shingle roof, after my roof was severely damaged by a hail storm in late August 2021. I could not be more pleased and impressed with A to Z during the entire project experience.

This opinion is based in large part upon the work of Bree Beem and Tim Webster. Their attitude is one of professionalism and persistence, while being down to earth (real). It showed throughout this process. Bree and Tim both performed superbly.

Bree took the lead on resolving details and other issues with my insurance carrier, alleviating me from having to do so. All items were resolved and the roof and gutter replacement proceeded without disagreement about the project scope and insurance payments.

Tim was the on-site project manager who initially got the ball rolling, explained the process, answered questions, fielded concerns, etc. Either Tim or Bree was my point of contact and one was always available.

The other persons I dealt with, including Corey, Mike and Lorenzo of A to Z, as well as Jesus (vent guy) and his partner, along with the two gutter installers – they all represented A to Z Roofing extremely well.

The roof replacement, gutter replacement and additional vent installation took place quickly, over a two-day period around December 20, 2021. Very quick and complete - the roof and gutters look great!

One final item of note I can point out concerns communication and documentation. Throughout the entire process A to Z consistently provided complete and easy-to-understand reference materials regarding the company’s step-by-step activities. A to Z enabled a personal web site for my specific project. Then, at the project’s conclusion, A to Z provided a complete (PDF format) file of project documents (e.g. complete contract, warranty information, release of lien, etc.) – important project items that were provided as a matter of course by Bree Beem on behalf of A to Z. Again a highly valuable and professional action from A to Z Roofing.

To recap again, the work product of A to Z Roofing and Exteriors, including the actual roof and gutter replacement, along with added ventilation, but also the delivery of needed communication and essential ending documentation package met every one of my expectations.

I could not be more pleased with the work of A to Z Roofing and recommend this company very highly.

The technicians including the site supervisor did an excellent job. They handled the cleanup very well. I was truly impressed! I live in a rural area. You get nails all over the place, but they were able to 99.9% of the nails. Not only did they replace the roof on my main home, they also did the roof on 2 other structures. There was a barn and a utility shed. All three structures are great! I had new downspouts put on, and I thought it was terrific. The subcontractor they used was johnny-on-the-spot. They bent over backwards to make it a good experience, and I've had a few bad experiences before.

Value - Our roof was covered under our homeowner's insurance so I do feel a qualified third-party reviewed and agreed with the pricing.

Work started 1 month after quoted date, left debris around my house and left my gutters packed with debris. Almost looked intentional. For the price I paid, I received subpar service, too bad because I hate to be disappointed by contractors.

They started late since they were finishing another project and had to finish the following day, but the work and materials seems to be of quality. They handled submission to insurance for discount in premium for hail-proof shingles without me needing to do anything. Only complaint is that they placed boards against my garage door (for protection?), but seems to have caused problems since with the garage door opening. It now often gets stuck part way up and I have to reopen/close more than once to get it to open all the way.

Additional Comments - The office staff was great to work with- understanding that we needed to wait to pay until insurance came through. Very professional in their communications with me- what to expect the day the work was done, precautions to take etc. We were not actually home when the roof was done, but all was cleaned up by the time we got home.

We asked for hail resistant shingles and that is what we thought we purchased. We sent the paperwork to our insurance company to get a discount. Turns out we did not get the right shingles. We got charged the correct price for the shingles we got but we were totally misled during the process. It was so irritating since we said upfront we wanted hail resistant shingles. This is the first roof I had replaced and was relying on the salesman to provide what we asked for. I was shocked that our roof did not have the shingles we wanted to purchase. So frustrating.

I was very satisfied with their work, they were very professional, and they got to it right away. If any problems or surprises came up they were able to handle it. I appreciated it very much.
