* Is he Licensed with the county you planing to build the addition ? * How long he was in business ? * What type of projects he has done in the past ? Sincerely  Nicolas 
is it standard to hold a cooling unit up by a belt to prevent it from leaning? this belt slipped and was tighten to again to prevent it from leaking

A belt doesn't sound like the proper material to hold anything related to air conditioning
