We have a floating home with a separate shed on an adjacent float. What is required to run wire from the main house (separate circuit) to the shed?

is it standard to hold a cooling unit up by a belt to prevent it from leaning? this belt slipped and was tighten to again to prevent it from leaking

A belt doesn't sound like the proper material to hold anything related to air conditioning
