3.5 Stars in general...
The workmanship is good.
Poor in design of interior feature. Not enough electric outlet in some rooms/areas. Misaligned light fixture. I bought a spec home. Was not allow to make much customization even though I signed before drywall was installed.
Silverthorne builds cookie cutter house. Not sure what distinguish Silverthorne from the average builder.
All of the people we have dealt with thus far at Silverthorne have been top notch!
We have worked with several different builders in the past to build new homes, but working with Silverthorne Home Builders has been our best experience ever!
When they say get EVERYTHING in writing, do just that!
While the home was expertly made, there are some things that weren't up to my expectations that give me pause. Specifically, I will tell any interested buyer/buildee to have very specific ideas and go through the build with those ideas in mind. Additionally, despite the warranty phase of my post-build, I feel that finishing touches could have been offered as a service. There are things I never had time to complete before our move-in: mirrors, shower doors, appliance installation, towel racks, toilet paper holders, blinds, curtain rods. These little details add up to big headaches if they're not done soon after closing. A finishing touch coordinator and an option on the portal would have saved me a lot of time, headache, etc. Even if Silverthorne doesn't want to involve itself with these finishing touches, then a list of qualified handymen/contractor for referral would've helped save time/frustration too. Overall, the home feels/appears well done. I'm happy to be in the home.
Not sure if I would recommend based on limited home building experience.
Silverthorne has been a great builder to work with. I have have built a home with a national builder and by far, Silverthorne is a better builder. They have been very professional and knowledgeable about building process. Kept me alert of anything they need from me through their Customer Portal. They allowed you to customize the floor plan more than any other national builder. I would highly recommend as well as use them again when I decide to build again.
To date, we have been very happy with the process of building a home with Silverthorne.
Building has not begun, so it is the very early stages at this point, and I haven't met the actual builder.
I have already recommended Silverthorne Home Builders!

Areas Of Satisfaction - I really like the quality of the workmanship. The house looks amazing.
Lead Source - I found them by doing research online of different developers in my area.
We closed October 27th and we haven't moved in yet!
Problem Resolution - We have yet to have any problems in the process.

Sales Attentiveness - From our first contact, Jim has been helpful with quick responses to inquiries.
Concern For Needs - Having never been through a home design process, Jim talked about possibilities and then truly listened and was able to translate our needs into the proposal. He has become a trusted friend in the home building process.
Understand Building Process - At pre dig meeting, Logan provided good instruction as to process. The binder provided has a section that explains out process well. Jim has also helped in our understanding as well. We also have been fortunate watching a similar home being built down the street.
Professional & Organized - To the point of the project we are in everyone has been professional and organized.
Value - Building a home is an expensive endeavor. Having realistic expectations for your budget and what you want is important to the value question. For us, we feel we are getting what we want at a good value. We haven't felt like we have had to settle for less than what we wanted due to price.
Easier Than Expected - As easy as the process has been I have had to ask Jim a few times if it always goes this quickly and easily. We haven't felt rushed.
Customer Suggestion - Because we are just starting in the build process, we hope we will have opportunity for more feedback via survey.
Additional Comments - Someone who wasn't asked about but has been integral in the pre build process is Mindy Salas. Working with her through the portal has made the process easier. Her responsiveness to requests has made this process smooth and easy.
Customer Suggestion - My wife and I's suggestion is to continue to be very committed to communication between the builder and the home purchasers.
Areas Of Satisfaction - CoConstruct App is awesome to make selections and communicate with the builder durinag and after the build. Super fast response fir one warranty issue.
The staff was professional, the work was completed in a timely manner, and they exceeded my expectations.
Areas Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied with the consistency of the layout. We picked the floor plan and it turned out exactly what we chose.

It's a quality build at an affordable price.
Customer Suggestion - We haven't started building the house yet so if this came later I might have a little more feedback for you. For right now they seem pretty attentive and have helped me find a plan that I like.
Additional Comments - Overall, I am very pleased with Silverthorne. There were some delays early in the process that weren't communicated as well as my wife and I would've liked. However, now that building has actually begun, they are much more openly communicating status of the project.
I'm pleased with the body of work that has been done. I was pleasantly surprised the owner Jim Work, responded to several messages inside the Portal. From start to finish I've been impressed with Silverthorne's professionalism. I would highly recommend Silverthorne to my friends and family.
Additional Comments - Chris Brooks and Mark Southwood have been a joy to work with, and are very personable.
Any Changes? - I purchased a spec home but very happy with the Quality and the added features I received for the Value like hign ceilings , Light in the ceiling, etc
