I picked Menno S. Martin because I was told by a number of people that they were dependable and did good work. I was also advised by the same people that they were on the expensive side. I was willing to pay the premium for dependability and good workmanship and they delivered. I would definitely recommend them. My renovation was hassle free even in the midst of a pandemic.

Menno S. Martin lived up to its reputation as being professional and competent throughout the entire process from planning to implementation. We knew what to expect at each stage of the process, and appreciated their accommodation of our living circumstance during the renovation. All of the staff who worked on the project, especially the two Jeffs, Stuart, Janet and Ron, we found to be responsive to our requests and delivered high quality workmanship in their respective jobs. Stephen, the project supervisor was always ready to assist with suggestions during planning and solving unexpected problems that appeared in our 1863 house during the work period. The project was completed close (reasonable) to the estimated time and within the budget we were given, with minor adjustment for unexpected problems.

We have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Not only was the team beyond professional and talented, their personal skills are top notch. We have two young children, and the crew made sure to include them in everything they could. It really made the renovation that much more important to them, and is now such a positive memory. Would recommend to anyone, for any job.

They have a great team that come to your home to look after everything from design, additions and renovations and their plumber and electrian are on site which makes scheduling easier and alot more productive. Martin does put people first and we will continue to put them first on our list of things that need to be done.

We knew Menno S Martin Contracting by reputation. They were our first choice for a basement reno and a new deck. It may cost a little more but the quality of both the material and labour is worth it without question.

Attention to detail example- I did not want a metal strip or raised strip between the bathroom flooring and the hardwood so Scott made me a very flat oak strip instead.
