I love my home however, we had issues with our timeline for walkthroughs and the attention to detail was really lacking.
Very good design. Materials and construction are generally good, finishing work is usually good with a few substandard exception. Landscaping and outside water management is substandard. Sod is does not survive and runoff from the roof due to lack of gutters and runoff management results in erosion and movement of soil and sand.
They did everything on schedule, the materials are good quality, and they've been good at getting back to me if I needed help or if something was off.
Manorhouse Builders was very easy to work with and open to answering all of our questions and concerns.

I’ll recommend the builder but I’ll offer advice to help others avoid possible headaches that we had.
We would recommend Manorhouse and Somerset Point to friends, but would caution new buyers to ask for things like additional sod and extended driveway before close, since we know from conversations with other owners that such add-ons are possible despite their lack of advertisement. Further, we would also recommend an escrow account to hold funds until completion of the punchlist to provide insurance and motivation.
Absolutely amazing company to work with. These guys go above and beyond and would feel comfortable referring them. They've done an outstanding job on my home and working with me on items after I moved in.

I'm just kind of skeptical about the materials because I think they could be a little better quality. Some of the paint could be a little better paint and the electrical outlets could be a little better, so it doesn't kick the breaker. Just stuff like that.

Kimberly Byrd, Sandra Celata and Jimmy Hughes have been wonderful, always happy to help with any of my requests or questions that I may have.
