In the build process now. Signed a contract in July 2020 after a very helpful and efficient planning process with Michel, Steve and Dave. Very pleasant people and responsive during the pre-sale process. Was quoted a 10 month build process but what wasn't clear is the 10 month build time is from the time the foundation is poured. So, all permits, lot prep and basement floor/concrete wall installation is "off the clock". Today is 8 Jan 21, our lot is cleared, the house staked and the rough gravel driveway is in. Still waiting on basement excavation. The build clock hasn't started ticking. My wife and I have a bet on completion date. I picked NLT Dec 21 (17 months from contract signing). She picked NLT Mar 22 (20 months from contract signing). I'm already getting nervous about the bet.... I'll update this periodically if allowed so readers can get a sense for build time. This is our third time building a custom home. I'll upgrade to 5 stars if I win the bet!

Craftsman made the process from start to finish very easy for me considering I had never done anything like this before. They were very welcoming to my ideas and very helpful with every aspect from finding land to picking the materials for the house that will flow appropriately throughout.
