We would recommend blue stem. The communication, the professionalism, the transparency... all have exceeded expectations. The portal streamlines communication and creates no guess work. The process has been very smooth and pretty quick. Everyone we've worked with so far has been professional yet friendly and warm. It is exactly the design experience for such a big reno we hoped for.

None of them "felt right" for our project. And then we found Bluestem. We knew it was the right company to work with after our first call with Timothy and it has been a pleasure ever since.

As I sit back and think about this project now that we are living - and loving - our new space, I am delightedly happy that we chose Bluestem. Bluestem is an excellent remodeling company. We appreciated the communication and transparency. This was our first remodel with no surprises! The design team was great with paring down options and helping us get just the look we wanted. The on-site team was friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a newborn and during a pandemic!

I appreciated that Bluestem took the time to understand what I wanted and let those conversations guide the project and recommendations made. The communication was excellent. I'm not an expert in building but they always took the time to explain things I wanted to understand better. Any issues were addressed in a timely manner. I really liked that they explained the options but also shared their professional opinions - that made it easier to make informed choices and not dwell on questions for too long. My project started during the uncertainty of the pandemic and they were flexible and conscientious as we figured out how to navigate the project.

Bluestem did an excellent job for us from start to finish. Exceptional service and follow up.

I have been recommending this company to everyone I know. They were so communicative, responsible and great problem solvers. All the staff were very personable. They sincerely cared about you and your project and getting it right for you. They stayed on time and budget. They were also flexible when I wanted something added. They knew what your goals were and remembered them. They kept their eye on the ball that you described. It was so nice not to have to worry about someone ghosting you or dropping the ball like is usual in this industry.

The design and implementation team was great. The high-level estimate provided before we signed up was probably half of what the actual cost was. I don't think it was intentional but my guess is Timothy is out of touch with what actual costs are today. Push to get the right level of estimate and detail you need for everyone to be confident in the price for the scope
