Quality of work wasn't bad and very positive experiences with Mike and Tuan. That's the only positive things I can think of. Working with SRT has been an agonizing exercise in frustration with terrible communication all along the way. Over a year after my house flooded...and the project still isn't complete.
The paint crew worked till midnight once, Towards the end the paint crew brought along a 5 or 6 year old child. I finished up the touch-up myself. My door blind was trashed by the paint crew and never replaced. There were weeks no crew showed up.
I would recommend them, but with some caveats.
Amazing service! Everyone was kind, courteous and arrived at the time promised! Would highly recommend this company and definitely use them again if ever needed!
Jose was very professional and explained the steps necessary that would help restore the quality of our home from water damage. There were delays during the process, where some might even be expected, but in the end, the quality and professionalism pulled it all together. Well Done!
I am very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of work.
Specialty Restoration of Texas' employees quality of work was fine, but I do not believe they were very professional. I never received a receipt after the job was complete.
The cleanup process, assessment of damages, and quote process were flawless. If you want to actually rebuild the home, I would hire a different company. There was not a lot of communication between the company and I. The building team also fell short of my expectations.
Slow at responding to my call.
The employees of SRT were highly professional and responsive but the subcontractors were poor at best.
The team was friendly and generally pretty responsive. My only knock on them is issues with communication at times where there were misunderstandings about when they were showing up. That said generally they sorted it out quickly and were pretty flexible with me.
Communication was an issue.
They don't complete their work. There is one outlet that I cannot use. They had to come back and move two dressers and they fixed it so that I cannot plug in a TV in the master bedroom when they painted it.
This really should be zero stars. They are not a good restoration company, in my opinion.
Awesome service. Thanks for all the help during a hard time for us
I am totally satisfied with their service.
I have been waiting for over three months for Specialty Restoration to complete the small repair job to my home. The job is still NOT complete. In addition to the contractors having to do the work again because of their poor quality of work, I now have contractor caused damage that has not been repaired. Any reputable home builder could have built a complete new house in the time it has taken Specialty Restoration to complete the repairs to my home which are still not complete after more than three months.
The upper management team for SRT is responsive and works with a sense of urgency. This is not true for the project managers, estimators, and subcontractors we dealt with in large part throughout our rebuild. We had 3/3.5 pms for our project. First one was replaced by SRT due to not making progress on job, second one left the company, third one was good until it came down to getting details and punch list items completed.
The supervisors need to communicate better with the contractors.
Some shingles blew off the roof after the new roof was replaced, they sent someone out to replace them and after that we discovered they put a hole in the ceiling of the closet, but it is fixed now.
It took them a long time. There was workmanship that had to be redone, especially the tile. They had to tear done the brick wall and redo it. One of their guys was amazed at how bad it was. There was problems with the grout around the bathtub.
Due to problems with scheduling some personal where very less than good.
Poor service quality in response to our immediate needs. There was no follow-up to what they had agreed to over the phone.
Ceiling was repaired twice and you can still see the patch. I will pay someone else to fix it. Pretty sad after I paid a $1000.00 deductible.
Very pleased. They successfully navigated the city requirements and went above and beyond to satisfy the demands of our landlord. I would highly recommend Tri-Star Repair.
We are very satisfied with the work. We had a very good experience working with Aaron, our Jenkins Project Manager.
Could not be more pleased with the overall experience. David was so professional and personable also. His crew did a GREAT job!😊
