I am a licensed residential contractor in the State of South Carolina, a member of the State and National Homebuilders Association, a SAFE Homes certified contractor and home inspector. 7 years ago, I went into business on my own because I wanted to have complete control over the product I build, for one simple reason . . . Mark, the answer depends on the topo ie the slope and terrain. Consult a local structual engineer..
