HISTORY: Groen Builders (GBI) was founded in 2000 by Fenton Groen and his sons, David and Joseph. In 2002 Fenton's brother Warren joined the company as did his son Jonathan. The company has experienced consistent growth since that time with a focus on high quality, energy efficient homes. In 2001, GBI began offering Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) structures in addition to its traditional wood-framed homes, all with a goal of being highly energy efficient and in harmony with their surroundings. Since 2004, all GBI new construction has exceeded the top Energy Star rating available, Five Star Plus. Most of the homes and additions have been designed in-house but GBI is equally comfortable producing quality homes designed by others.

(GBI) is a general contractor and consultant, offering a full range of quality services for commercial and residential customers, performed as design-build or built to customer's specifications. Most GBI projects are turn-key, from consulting and design services, to project management, to self-performed aspects of construction, to finish of building and site, to final turnover to customer. We specialize in energy-efficient building systems, and take pride in excellence.

WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU: ON TIME: Each project timeline is carefully prepared and scheduled to stay within the original contract timeframe. We diligently manage each phase in order to minimize delays and keep the project moving. IN BUDGET: Contract pricing is carefully negotiated to provide the desired balance between the budget constraints and the project expectations of the customer. If or when changes must be made during the course of the project, we promptly execute change orders so that the appropriate adjustments can be made to the project budget. TO YOUR SATISFACTION: We strive to complete each project as specified to the customer's full satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is not just when the job is complete. Our constant customer satisfaction pledge means that we keep the jobsites tidy, control impact to surrounding areas, and maintain regular communications and project status updates.

All of our work, whether residential or commercial, small job or large, receives our full attention to detail and our pledge to customer satisfaction. We provide a one-year limited construction warranty.
