Having the sunroom built was the culmination of a 20+ year dream. With such high expectations it might not have gone that well. BUT, from start to finish it was a every smooth process. Jim, who owns the company, was very patient with my endless questions and texts. But he was always courteous and kind. Everything took place as he said it would. He was great!

The sunroom is beautiful!! The materials look very high quality and the installation was done with great care. Everything came together perfectly as Sal promised it would be before his truck departed.

I can’t say enough about our crew. Sal, Jay, Willie and Corey were hard-working, diligent and very exacting in the quality of the work they did. Also, they were pleasant, very respectful of us and the little piece of heaven that we call home.
They were very punctual, actually arriving early each day. The work area was cleared and cleaned each night. They were very cautious with all of their tools. And, we were sad to see them go.

Areas For Improvement - When we first planned the project, we asked if there was any chance that it could be completed by Christmas. We were told they would try, which is definitely not a guarantee. But they didn’t start until after New Years. So that was a minor frustration amongst a pile of great service and craftsmanship.

I would recommend Under The Sun Improvements. I bought a hybrid pool which is buried 33'' in the ground. The job was done well and in a timely manner.

Quality Of Materials - The pool is beyond the quality of any other product for an above ground. I had no reservations about putting this pool in the ground, its material is that of an in ground pool. Other companies will bury any above ground pool but do your research, this is the Northeast.

Design - With some reflection, I think planning for the site itself could improve, such as grading and drainage needs. I'm not sure if computer software or someone with landscape design experience may help. As the ground settles around my pool its difficult to see the whole project finished. The planning of the depth of the pool should have been discussed more thoroughly to ensure smooth completion of the entire site, not just the pool. There is lots of planning to do when undertaking a project that will result in multiple projects other than just the pool.

The pool walls were delivered by a company that did not have a hand truck so they had to open the pallet and proceeded to stack the walls standing up against my driveway retaining wall which is stone. The walls then had to be moved to location for the pool and were found to be damaged. Jim had to get us the touch up paint to cover all the areas where the paint was scratched off.
