Choosing the right contractor is the first, most crucial step along the path toward renovation. John Shea, also known as “Mr. Fix It,” has been a fixture in the St. Louis remodeling industry for over 25 years. Whether you’re renovating your home or expanding your living space with a room addition, John believes communication is the foundation of every successful project. By meeting with his clients on a regular basis, John is able to match the homeowner’s style with the appropriate architect, designer and craftsmen who will bring their projects the personal attention they deserve. From the initial consultation to last nail hammered, John manages to keep the homeowners best interest at heart – getting the project completed on time and staying within the budget. Past clients agree that John’s warm and outgoing personality makes him a delight to work with. After 25 years in the business, John approaches each new project with the ideal measure of creativity and logic in order to design how people live. His “can-do” ingenuity, honesty and integrity stand alone in the industry. For nine years, John Shea has provided listeners with “handy” insights and wisdom as Mr. Fix It on KTRS AM Talk Radio. He also appeared as a Remodeling Expert on CBS’s News 4 This Morning from 1997-2002. He was chairman of the St. Louis Home Builders Association Remodeling Council in 1997 & 1998, and became a member of the HBA’s executive committee that same year. John is a Journeyman Carpenter in addition to being a Certified Graduate Remodeler. John Shea is truly a hands-on craftsman and contractor who oversees the details of each job – from start to finish. GuildQuality customer satisfaction surveys enable homeowners to rate their contractor on a scale of zero to four (with zero being the worst and four being the best) in all sorts of categories. Our members can publish a summary of those answers here on their profile page, displaying a bar for as many or as few questions as they like. We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.Learn more about reviews and comments.
