Universal Windows Direct of Cleveland
Since its inception by co founders William Barr and Michael Strmac in 2002, Universal Windows Direct has lived by the philosophy of CANEI - "Constant and Never Ending Improvement". This philosophy holds true in all aspects of our business, from sales and marketing to installation and service and has catapulted UWD from a small, local home improvement company to one of the largest exterior remodeling companies in the country. Every one of our employees strives continuously to be the best in the business at what they do and provide our customers with only the highest levels of sales, service, and support. We think our company's history speaks to this goal and to the power of what we can accomplish by never settling.

The installers were on time. They pulled their trailer into the driveway and got set up to start the job. They introduced their self and looked over the space where the window was to be. They placed covers over the area outside to catch any falling debris. It took them about an hour to remove the old window which I thought was quick. They were very organized about their work. After the window was in place they filled in around the window with insulation that sealed it completely. The finished mouldings were added and the outside was complete. They finished the inside with wood mouldings that really looked great. The only thing we had to do was to paint the mouldings and hang our curtain. The whole job took 2 1/2 hours. I was impressed. They did a great job.

Windows measured incorrectly. The installer arrived 3 hours past our estimated time without calling us to inform us of delay

I scored a 7 because I still have an outstanding matter to be resolved. One of my newly installed windows has a draft.

The quoted and installers were awesome! Windows were pricy though. Some small cosmetic things are some of the lock/unlock are loose. A couple of the windows are tough to open/don’t slide really easy.
