Since its inception by co founders William Barr and Michael Strmac in 2002, Universal Windows Direct has lived by the philosophy of CANEI - "Constant and Never Ending Improvement". This philosophy holds true in all aspects of our business, from sales and marketing to installation and service and has catapulted UWD from a small, local home improvement company to one of the largest exterior remodeling companies in the country. From the time we met with the salesman (Marty Larkin) to the finish of the install, everyone was friendly and professional. The install itself went flawlessly. We had 10 windows replaced on a cold (32 degree) day. The install took abouit 3 hours, a lot less then we expected. There was no mess left behind for us to clean up. We would highly recommend Universal Windows Direct. "We Love Our Windows"

Nearly every window sash has a scratch or chip in it. Have been fighting for two months to have them replaced. Being told that only one out of 18 will be replaced and others are not covered under warranty. I don’t understand how I am expected to receive a new product that is damaged and somehow that is supposed to be acceptable.

I never got my Amazon gift card even after I called about it. One of the installers was rude. Not the gentleman who came to measure- he was very nice.

The installer noted our windows was crooked. It took little over 6 weeks to get a new one, but we are very happy with our new windows & especially the doors!
