The process broke down once installation started to occur.

The whole process, from beginning to end, you are associated with basically the same people, and your questions are always answered; it is a distinct program and you know what is happening each step of the way.

We signed our contract 7 months ago and the foundation still has not been poured. Our county does not require any building permits so that was not an issue. From the beginning we were not given a step by step process of exactly what we/owners needed to do and a timeline - such as Tilson needed our bank's release of lien, when to have electrical installed, water meter installed, when to get septic permit, when to build the dirt pad. After our stakeout meeting, we did not have any communication with Tilson for approximately 6 weeks. We made revisions to the initial drawings (added more electrical outlets, couple of other minor items, nothing major), and 6 weeks later, nothing had moved forward.

I will recommend the Weatherford office to anyone interested in having Tilson build a dream home. Quality from start to finish.

Colten was very knowledgeable and able to help us build our dream home. He walked us through expectations and constantly made sure we were taken care of. Mike was amazing in making sure we were up to date on anything build related. Always open to communication and making sure things were done right.

I was disappointed in that I had to do more stuff than I wanted to; I wanted to be hands-off. In the beginning I was getting a wood stove and they were going to install it and then a different employee handled our support because our original person left the company and Tilson Homes was not going to do anything with the wood stove which left it on me to get the stove stuff. When it was time for closing, they wanted my stove stuff done before we closed and I didn't think it was going to happen, but it happened. I didn't understand why it was included in the closing if I was handling it myself.

The customization process was long and we had many times where things were missed or there were many miscommunications with different departments.

Our salesperson Kelsey Haderer was amazing and walked us through the whole process and made it so much more comfortable and easy.

We worked with Sydney Palmy at the Spring location, and she was phenomenal. She was exceptional in delivering customer service and made sure we understood the process of getting ready to build with them.
