I did a lot of research on different home builders in Houston Metroplex, and Tilson Homes stood out to me. The built-in financing was very attractive because I do not have to pay interest on the construction. That, combined with the quality and straightforward pricing, made it very easy to do business with them. I have enjoyed the build process so far.

Ashley Sloan guided my wife and me smoothly through this first phase of our journey, always responding to emails and calls promptly, with kindness and professionalism. Juan Moore met with us, updated us on expectations, and got our input on the work, which was to take place on our property. He knows his job; he is a very hard worker and ensured all contractors did their jobs well.

I had to literally legally threaten Tilson about a contract matter. They finally relented because they owed us money on a contract. It had nothing to do with the actual construction. It was the contracting, and I was exceptionally disappointed with how it was handled.

There is such coordination of the whole process-and no question about cost once the contract is signed. The buyer has control of most changes and once the process starts, the changes come quickly. I can’t say enough about the employees I have been dealing with. It has been a great experience and I’m only a couple of months away from completion!
I also want to say “thanks” to the subcontractors who have been considerate and kind.

The entire process has been very easy. The build is on schedule and every staff member we have encountered has been friendly snd professional.

Amy was absolutely amazing to work with she was very professional and knew her product very well. The whole Tilson experience has been fantastic so far!

Just the quality of the craftsmanship isn’t very impressive. Lots of mistakes which are going to take a lot longer to fix down the road. Things that shouldn’t have been an issue from the beginning. There are an expected number of punch list items but at this rate the house will be done twice.

The Tislon Homes staff was exceptional to work with and very accommodating.
