Their building specifications for building a house met my expectations. They go out of their way to use quality materials for the construction.

We are building a modern home, but Tilson wants to put in toggle light switches, not flat ones. They want $2100. I could buy it for $300 and do it myself, which I am. I am not recommending them. I don't understand why they can't switch that over to be in today's time. It shouldn't cost much for them, maybe $200.

I am likely to recommend Tilson Homes to a friend. Hunter Bates has been great throughout the entire building process.

Cannot build a fully custom home from scratch……would like for home plans to include various architectural designs: colonial, mid century, Mediterranean, etc

Julie Hersey is an outstanding person, who listened to our needs and was knowledgeable about things that would or might not work. She never guessed at anything, she would call someone to be certain.

They have been very helpful in figuring out the home-building process for a first-time homebuilder and everything with the permits. The communication and updates have been really good.

Our Home Specialist Sarah was amazing to work with she went above and beyond for us from helping with we chose our land to letting us know everything needed prior to signing with having all our ducks in order. She was friendly and ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS or would get back to us that same day. She would also keep us updated on every single change or documents needed for review. She was just what we needed someone patient yet very professional and knowledgeable for our needs.

The entire process is more than we expected. Plenty of options to get the customer build we wanted. Love the people.

The house is of very good quality, but I think I would only recommend Tilson Homes to someone if they are willing to stay on top of the details.

Some small issues have not been resolved yet, stained concrete from exterminator, broken trim on ceiling of back patio. had to deal with wood stove people myself, Praying the chimney is in a safe location for the stove installation.

The easy buy program makes it more affordable and faster to get in your home.

I highly recommend working with Tilson Georgetown. Our experience with them has been amazing every step of the way. From start to almost finish, their team has been welcoming, informative, and truly great to work with. We’re incredibly grateful to have them as our home builder and we can’t wait to move in to our dream home.
