Besides little issues here and there that had nothing to do wirh the quality of the install, I definitely would recommend Power Home to anyone who inquires about them!
Was not given full pricing. When I spoke to represent he said I signed off so I am responsible .
Great work. Prices are great as they work within your budget.
They were great. Goed up in
Company had to return to finish installation due to wrong size slide window measured by 2 employees with a combined 15 yrs plus experience. Additionally, 2 Azuks were installed with damage, however, replaced and lastly, the bathroom tile was cracked by the window, however, replaced by 2 tiles because additional tile was damaged by mistake in removing the initial cracked tile.
The speed of the demolition and installation
Power Home Remodeling has done two projects for us. They put windows in, and they put a roof on. For the roofing job, they didn't have their own power. They asked me for an extension cord to plug into my socket inside the house when they should have had their own generator for their own power. We were also promised that, for both projects, they would be done in one day. The window project did take one day. The roof project took three days. The windows crew was great. They did a pretty decent job, but the roofing crew needed to be improved. The work was good, but the process of getting it done was not. I rate the roofing crew 3 stars and the window crew 5 stars.
Professional, thorough, great product.
Your sales rep was wonderful, the install guys were great except for breaking the glass in 2 old windows (glass fell inside) and not disclosing, even the Quality Assurance Manager was very nice. The QAM noticed some issues with windows and set up 1 appointment for May 21st to replace weeping holes that were caulked over and 2nd appointment for June 12th to replace window sash that was damaged. NO SHOW, NO CALL, NOTHING as of June 12st. Is this your customary practice to finish job, take $$ and not follow up with issues??
Fast, easy to work with, on time, quality install.
It was a top notch job from start to finish and we’re extremely happy with the results
We had a sliding glass door replaced. The height of the new door is quite a bit shorter than the existing door. I carefully removed the interior door trim ahead of the new installation due to newly painted walls I wanted to protect. The existing gap between top of door and header was approx. 1/4". The gap at the new door appeared to be around 1-1/2". The new horizontal trim piece at the top of the door did not entirely cover the gap between top of door and header. I was able to put a finger in a gap on one side. I was also able to easily move this trim because the nails did not reach the header board. The combination of shorter door and installers not using long enough vertical trim side pieces led to this issue. The installers also spliced 2 pieces of trim on each side of the door which I find totally unacceptable when spending over $5,000 on the new door. The caulking over nail holes and trim joints was rougher than expected. I am redoing the trim finish work and have to paint a 1-1/2" section of wall above the door that was not covered by the trim.
Our initial salesperson was great, but he missed a few things that should have been part of the initial quote. When the project manager came in to verify everything, our bill increased by $1,300. We had multiple services done. They had to come back out after the first service to do cleanup, as there were nails and screws found all over our property. They did come back out once we had made that complaint, which was good, and cleaned everything up. Our initial window order was delayed with no correspondence of rescheduling, which required us to reconfigure dog and child care, along with taking off additional time from work. So as an example, we were supposed to have an install on Tuesday of the first week of April. We were called on Friday, informing us we needed to reschedule. So the planning that we did in the 3-4 weeks ahead all had to be redone to facilitate having 20-plus windows installed and removing children, aftercare, and animal care from our house. We had done all this planning at Power's request. They had in their documentation that we had children and pets.
Next, we were told by our original salesperson that the brackets for the blinds did not need to come off for all of the 20-plus frames; however, during the isntallation, it turned out that they all needed to come off. Two of the brackets ended up coming up missing. The quality assurance person who was out here was phenomenal. His name was Phil. He brought the team leader, Ian, to the house and they did a full clean of our entire house because when the installers were installing our windows, they broke, like shattered my back sliding door window and left glass all over my patio. The installers just swept the glass into my mulch. I have 3 small children and an animal that goes outside in that area. So they cleaned everything up and reinstalled the blinds for us the following day because that was the expectation that was originally set with us from the salesperson. So the remedy for the installation was great. The process and the frustration to actually get it fully complete was an absolute one-star.
They did everything they said they were going to do.
No one came back to check the quality of the 2nd job- the additional windows and gutters/downspouts.
Quality of product
Very professional and friendly.
Power Home Remodeling was good from start to finish, and we had a couple of hiccups, but they took care of everything like they said they would. They're an A-plus company as far as I'm concerned.
Everything was good. The guys were wonderful. They were very professional and polite. They were really nice.
I liked everything about the whole experience--everybody I talked to and the quality of all the different phases of it.
The guys went above and beyond when they came and did their job. They didn't hold anything back, so that's the main reason why I would give the 5-star rating.
Great communication and follow through with project.
My windows are Beautiful clean up Good Communication Horrible change appointment times when ever it is good for you you don’t ask the customer for example you were supposed to come today to do gutters I see you changed it to Monday 6/15
All the personnel who we spoke to were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the Power process.
Professional sales presentation that addressed all questions and or concerns. Punctuality as respects every appointment set from sales pitch, to installation date and time, to the arrival of the quality control inspection. The install crew were so very personable and paid attention to every detail right up to clean-up. The entire project exceeded our expectations.
