I have been in the service industry all my life. I am totally impressed at the folks I dealt with at Power, the folks that have been to my house and the work performed on my house. I offered if they will pay for lodging and food, I will travel around and be their spokesperson for free. I am very impressed with what they have done and how their inspector treated me when he came to look at the work. The man made me feel like he really cared and loved what he was doing.

Quality of work performed was good. But prices are high and the constant coming back for "additional work" became excessive. I started with a free quote and ended with new windows, siding, gutters, doors and a complete tear down of my breezeway that I had to pay extra just to tear it down because it wasn't covered by the contract and they wouldn't move forward with the work until I either tore it w down or rebuilt the framework.

The beginning part takes a really long time, the sales pitch. They try to sell you multiple things. It was over an hour.

The initial communication was confusing.

I like the siding design and It should improve the R rating overall and reduce our energy cost. The cost was high, but I have no comparison of another company.

The process was very easy on our end; the office staff was very helpful in scheduling and making sure all our questions were answered, very helpful.

Customer service is not up to par. I have been trying to get ahold of them for the last two weeks because of an issue that has not been resolved. My mother's window was not installed properly and no one has come back out to fix it, and they need to replace a screen they tore.

The work was completed in a timely fashion. The crew was lively and hardworking.

Communication after the contract is signed is poor. If I had received a name & number to CALL (not access via an app) with questions about the pricing, installation, and post-installation, I *might* have rated your business higher. I might not, since, after speaking with multiple folks at Power (at varying levels of authority and paygrade), I never get the same story twice. It's like one hand doesn't know what the other one is doing. I have had several experiences where I have contacted someone and gotten great customer service; however, I couldn't tell you what hoops I had to go through to reach them (likely by hitting redial on my phone) because I have never been given a number (or name) to call.

Having said all that, anyone I have spoken-with in the [local] Silver Spring (brick and mortar) office has been really helpful, especially Maria. If she doesn't have the answer, then she calls me back after speaking to the right person who does. Kudos to her and to you for hiring her. Likewise, anyone who has answered the phone (names like Justin and Christopher come to mind, but I might be wrong, since I was focused on speaking with Maria) in the Silver Spring office has made themselves available to me and answered my questions to my satisfaction.

I am now in 'negotiations' with Joey. He had the misfortune of contacting me via email to ensure that the gutter/fascia job was done correctly and completely. Since I had his email, I clouded up and rained all over him, regardless of whether or not my complaint(s) had anything to do with completion and clean up. So far, he has been responsive. We'll see what happens next.

But again, if poor Joey didn't reach out to me in an email, I would have never known how to get in touch with someone to hear my laments.

I am likely to recommend Power Home Remodeling to a friend. The whole experience was nice, and the people who came out. Most of the time people come and want to do things, and you never hear from them again, but they were true to who they were, and I'm in love with my windows and the front door. I'm just waiting on one other shutter to be placed, and the job will have been completed.

Everything was really easy. The salesman didn't try to sell us. He educated us on the products that they have. That sold us. He wasn't pushy. He was accommodating and friendly. The entire process was headache free. We didn't have to deal with permitting or our HOA. The ease was a breath of fresh air. That's why I would recommend them to anyone.

I've found that Power gives me what I want the first time around. I hate having someone come out to repeat themselves, so Power was a blessing. It's a bit pricy but good quality.

Quick and efficient

I've been very happy with Power Home, and I am very pleased with the work they've done for me.

The workers parked their cars in my driveway (I have a large circular driveway), and I have oil stains on my driveway. I have a paved sidewalk around my house, and the air compressor leaked; now there are two large stains on the pavers. I talked to the gentleman, and he did not know how to clean those leaks.

A friend referred us to Power and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They did not do what they said. Bad contractor. No plywood. destroyed good
plywood. The warranty did not work.

The crew that worked on my project were great. They told me what they were going to do for the day and asked if I had any questions or concerns. They started to work immediately and didn’t stop until 7;30pm. All the days were the same. They told me what they were going to work on and then they started to work until after 7:00pm.

The second crew came a few days later to work on the gutters. This was another good
crew. They arrived on time. They told me where the gutters would be placed. They asked if I had any questions regarding the gutters. I said no. They started working and were done in a couple of hours.

Crews working on your projects need to speak better Engish

You double billed me. I issued a check for the balance of the contract price AND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION you charged my credit card also. I have asked that a credit be issued but into the fourth business day no credit has been issued to my card.
