They did a great job in a timely manner.
Everything has gone so shockingly smoothly, moreso than any other company I've ever worked with, and the cleanup has been so thorough that I haven't had to worry about our dog getting hurt by potential litter from the projects. (which is something most other companies don't even come close to.)
Level of professionalism from all involved.
Power staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful in providing the window service we purchased.
I would absolutely not recommend Power Home Remodeling, and I am a returning customer. I had a window done with them in 2022. So many things went wrong with this project.
On the day of the installation, I was promised that there would be a supervisor of the team present. The team does not speak any English at all. I was told that a supervisor would be popping in at some point around 10:30 am. At 11:45 am, still no one had shown up, and no one ever showed up on the day of installation. Somehow I managed to communicate with the team and ask for a supervisor, and finally they understood. So I had two conversations with someone over the phone. There were so many people that I spoke with. I have no idea who they are, what their functions within the organization are, etc. I had to make a decision in a split moment, and there was no one from Power present to advise or guide me or just answer questions so I could make my decision. Ultimately it was my decision, but I am not an expert and didn't know what I was looking at or how bad it was or how good it was. Originally Power had estimated only 5 sheets of plywood would need to be replaced, which was on the quote. An individual did come over on the Wednesday before the installation. He went upstairs to the attic, took videos and photos, and told me how bad and terrible the plywood was. He said that I needed to get it replaced immediately. My thing is that if you go in the attic and make a statement like that, I want you to be honest with me and say that we had said 5 plywood boards would be replaced, but there might be more. None of that happened. Going back to the installation day, I had to project manage the whole project. There were no adults, so to speak, on the premises. The people who were working were very nice, but the management failed the customer terribly by not being there and not providing any answers to anything.
During the installation, the crew damaged the ceiling in my bedroom, which apparently happens. On the day of the installation, I spoke with a gentleman, I think his name was Chris, who said that someone would be in touch with me on Monday regarding the fix for the ceiling. Monday came, and I didn't hear from anyone. At about 6 o'clock, a car pulled into my driveway. It was the quality assurance person taking over and reviewing the project. I didn't know who he was. No one told me that he was coming. I was surprised by it but thought it was great because I was able to walk him through my experience and how this all took place. All I heard from him was "I am sorry," but really no action. I asked about who I was supposed to hear back from regarding my ceiling. He stepped outside to make a call to find out, but I wasn't part of that conversation. He came back in and said they weren't coming that day but would be there Friday. I told him that I expected a phone call from the crew a day before, letting me know what time they were coming, because I couldn't sit home all day just waiting for them to show up. I did get a phone call from a gentleman by the name of Chris, who said they would be here that day between 8 and 10. No one showed up. I called the office, and they didn't know what was going on. It was so unprofessional.
In summary, with Power Home Remodeling, there is no communication, zero explanation on anything, and no apology. If a customer is experiencing this type of trouble, I would expect that someone in management step up and take over. Be the point of contact, so I don't have to speak with a different person every time. Step up and be the person to figure out what is going on and make the situation better for the homeowner.
Ultimately, the whole project was nothing but a big debacle. I had no one to communicate with during the project, no communication from the company, and no apologies. Also, Chris had the audacity to get on the phone and tell me that the reason there wasn't a supervisor here was because that person got caught up with another customer with a bigger problem. That made me pause for a second. To tell a customer who is having a problem with their installation that there is another homeowner that is more important to Power because you think it is a bigger problem is absurd. You should never tell another customer that they're not important, because guess what? My home and my project are everything to me, and I expect that I will be handled as such.
This is an example of poor management of work, over-promising, and under-delivering. That's how I would sum this up. I was told that I could just call, but I needed someone present at my house to speak with. I felt rushed and had zero answers to my questions because the crew didn't speak English. I am floored. I'm absolutely floored. If I did my job that way, I would be fired.
Also, I understand that the cost that I signed the project with can be changed a little. The assessor who came in to assess the project and work on the price saw that the plywood was not the worst from the outside but was worse from the inside. I ended up spending 30% more on this project than I budgeted, and I had to make that decision in 5 minutes. However, if I didn't ask questions and tell them to stop proceeding, they would not have replaced the plywood that needed to be replaced. They would have just covered the rotted plywood with the new roofing shingles. It would have been terrible in the end if I hadn't stood outside and asked the questions that needed to be asked but just fully trusted the installers. I spent $17,000 for a roof of 1,200 square feet. The house is one floor, 828 square feet of living space. It is a tiny house. I think I was robbed and ripped off, and this project was poorly managed. When the quality assurance person came in, he was very nice and very polite. But he tried to offer me a solution, which would put me in even more debt by offering to lower the interest rate by two points. I said let's do that, but the catch was that I needed to engage in a new project. That was so misleading and not clear. Power Home Remodeling does a lot of schmoozing up front.
I am highly likely to recommend your services to others.
Too many chiefs. was told I was getting a 11 man crew to install 26 windows so it would only be 1 day. Only 3 and it has 2 days 21 hours total and they still haven't cleaned everything up. Sales was ok but never followed up when requested. Then so many phone calls and told beginning on the 9-1.
Then someone called and asked if 8-10 was ok they would have an 11 man crew be done in a day. We said ok. Was told they would call to confirm. Received a call on the 6th or 7th the crew would be there 8-10 at 8am. 5 showed but 2 left around 11. It was only 100 + that day. Wife is bedridden and had the crew working in that room for a half a day but the whole house had to open with no AC.
Work was great love the windows and doors so much We ordered a front door from them
But way to much corporate for me a lot of empty promises and no response back
Very professional
The crews they sent out were awesome; I had no problems with the workmanship. It was with the sales rep and how they handled a few things.
Good communication before and during the work. Crew responsive and respectful.
Guys did great work on trim
They are a little pricey, but they did a good job.
So far so good, will update when completed. Have only had a few windows done so far so can’t say too much yet.
Clean up better and stand behind what you say
I would absolutely recommend Power Home Remodeling and Pella Windows to anyone considering replacing their windows. I think they look phenomenal, and, the team did an excellent job.
Experience was good overall. Work seems to have been done well and for and acceptable price.
They were on time, very efficient workers, and did a great job.
They did a good job. I did not like the high-pressure sales tactic at the end for another job.
Professional, skilled consultants and workers, excellent materials, great warranty.
Everything was just perfect with them.
Ease of collaboration

I have already reccomended them to a couple of folks. I am very satisfied with their services.
Seller indicated the kind of work they were going to do but when the team came there were jobs that were not detail for them and i have to pay much more
They were professional and did things that other companies don't do—my husband and I were introduced to all the workers doing our windows and they went from window to window in order to get everything done; we knew all their names.
(In & out) Showed up on time, did great work and left with the job completed in a timely manner.
The product quality was top notch.
The guys did a great job. Everything was super, clean, and on time. It was an awesome experience!
Quality of the work & the consistent friendly, professional & informative service no matter who we spoke to.
Very hard working and courteous staff
Worked cleanly. The end result looks awesome.
Make sure that you read your contract because things that they tell you do not always appear in a contract.
He was polite and explained everything in detail.
The whole crew was a pleasure to work with, from the salesman who created our confidence in the product to the project manager who kept us informed with the installation.
Everything from the initial contact to the completion of the poject. Everything was explained very well to me.
Very professional.
The salesperson was very knowledgeable and explained everything that was about to happen. We had an entire roof done, and it took only one day. We are very happy with the crew's professionalism. They came in, did the complete job, cleaned up after themselves, and did wonderful work.
The work was done by very talented people and it was fantastic for us!!!
My concerns
1. The size of each window varies. The sliding windows are smaller than the fixed windows, and the demonstration windows/photos indicated that each panel would be approximately the same size.
2. Power frequently changed "stories" when we were selecting windows: first, Power stated that we could purchase "non-hurricane" windows because we have hurricane shutters; next, Power changed their position and said we needed hurricane windows; next, the measurer mis-measured the windows and gave an erroneously low cost estimate. In the end, we went through three Power quotes because Power changed their position, story, measurement. In each phase/change, the cost went up about $1,000.
They were professional and did good quality work.
Power Home Remodeling came out on time. They worked about an hour and 45 minutes and cleaned up after themselves. Everything looked good. I looked at it before they left. Everything looked good, and I would recommend them to anybody.
Appreciate the way the installation was initiated and completed. The crews were very good at getting everything done. Cleanup was perfect and communication was good.
Work began prior to the original schedule. Quality of finish was excellent. Follow up was excellent.
Polite, caring, listened well
