Very polite window installers!
We have had a few issues with our door and it still has not been resolved. We have had 6 scheduled appts which one was missed do to the companies lack of communication with thier contractors. Two times they showed up and had no clue what was the issue was and weren't prepared to fix the lock. The last contractor showed up to fix the molding and didn't fix the issue. The contractor was supposed to come back to resolve the issue and has not yet returned. This has been going on for almost 2 months. I have zero faith in this company. I chose this company due to their ratings and supposedly customer support. I had other things I wanted done in my house which I will not be using this company. I paid the premium price thinking I would get great service. I just got a great bill and shady service and basic quality. I would never recommend this company to any one they do not stand on thier products and services.
Installation took four days because only half the crew showed up every day. The installation was subpar and rework had to be done several times as caulking was missed on entire sides of windows.
I would recommend the company based on prices and the ability to finance the project. I would not recommend based on safety issues with window crew
The roof looks great and I don't have to worry about it with a 50 year warranty. I live on a one lane dirt road and they were able to get everything done without blocking it. I also have a lot of trees and flower beds around the house and they look good still, after the roof was done. I work 2 jobs so I wasn't home for most of the project and they did a good job.
Multiple issues with windows, issues with contractors, repeatedly been told information but not taken taken care of.
They did a great job on the roof. The only problem was it took them a few days to come and get the dumpster, and they tore up part of the lawn. They still haven't fixed that yet. That's the only thing that really bothers us now.
They didn't finish the job
Sales are always a challenge but polite and knowledgeable reps go a long way to keeping the process moving forward. The installation
Crews were superb cannot say enough about them . Overall a good experience.
Every facet of the new product installation and its quality is outstanding. The people who make up this company are exceptionally talented and knowledgeable.
The front end is very responsive and knowledgeable
Crew was very polite, professional, installation was fast and done well even with some weather challenges. Clean up was better than the roofing company and solar we had done.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Experience with Power!
Our experience with Power was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! It all started with Patrick, who came to our door and was extremely kind, professional, and respectful. He made us feel comfortable and took the time to introduce us to the company.
We were able to schedule a same-day appointment with Thomas, and he went above and beyond explaining everything about the company, the products, the quality, and the entire process. We felt very informed and confident in our decision, and we ended up purchasing both windows and doors the same day!
On the day of installation, the entire team arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and kept everything extremely clean and organized. They were very professional, and when they finished, everything was left neat and in excellent condition.
We are extremely satisfied with both the service and the quality of the products. From Patrick and Thomas to the installation team, everyone was courteous, professional, and truly committed to providing a great experience.
We highly recommend the Power team to all of our neighbors and anyone looking for quality windows and doors with outstanding customer service. Thank you, Power, for making the entire process so easy and enjoyable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had a great experience to start but steadily declined from install to inspection. Had inspectors come out 4 times, plus damage to my walls that were poorly repaired. Lastly, quite increased 5,000 after 3 people came to measure and provide pricing.
They were fantastic. Everything was very smooth and efficient. Not pushy at all with the sale, felt very natural. Felt good about our purchase! Michael made sure we were happy with the purchase and that there was no reservation or concern. Raymond came by afterwards and made sure the install was excellent and that we were satisfied with
Installation was fast, efficient, and the crew was professional and paid close attention to detail.
The whole experience was amazing
Everyone that we dealt with was helpful & informative.
Once an installation has been scheduled and other workmen have been scheduled around that timing, it was not acceptable to have that timetable delayed at the last minute.
They are very kind and did a wonderful job!
Not happy with power. Because I requested that someone need to come out to go over question about product & installation. Also told that somebody will be coming out. No call back
Amazing crew! Highly recommend!!!!
.We would recommend Power Home Remodeling for professionalism, product warranty and quality, timeliness of project completion. In addition, we would share a few of the concerns as described in Questions 2 and 10
They were good at communication and focused on customer satisfaction.
This is my 3rd time using them.
They were here as scheduled. Did a great job and cleaned up each day after finishing.
They were very disorganized and the communication was horrible.
Power has very professional people. They installed very cleanly. They are very conscientious, and I was very impressed. They definitely get 5-stars for my likeliness to recommend!
I am going to recommend power to everyone. It’s more than just the product. But their professionalism, communication and timeliness is important to me and I know others as well.
Your salesman was the beginning.... we cancelled and should have never rescheduled!
It was very simple and easy. Everything was made really simple, and it was an easy process throughout.
I've been power customer years ago and I loved it. so I didn't hesitate to hire power again. but I'm left with disappointment.
Job was quick and crew cleanup was good
Be aware of where dusty things are placed.
They did a great job in a timely manner.
Everything has gone so shockingly smoothly, moreso than any other company I've ever worked with, and the cleanup has been so thorough that I haven't had to worry about our dog getting hurt by potential litter from the projects. (which is something most other companies don't even come close to.)
Level of professionalism from all involved.
Power staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful in providing the window service we purchased.
I would absolutely not recommend Power Home Remodeling, and I am a returning customer. I had a window done with them in 2022. So many things went wrong with this project.
On the day of the installation, I was promised that there would be a supervisor of the team present. The team does not speak any English at all. I was told that a supervisor would be popping in at some point around 10:30 am. At 11:45 am, still no one had shown up, and no one ever showed up on the day of installation. Somehow I managed to communicate with the team and ask for a supervisor, and finally they understood. So I had two conversations with someone over the phone. There were so many people that I spoke with. I have no idea who they are, what their functions within the organization are, etc. I had to make a decision in a split moment, and there was no one from Power present to advise or guide me or just answer questions so I could make my decision. Ultimately it was my decision, but I am not an expert and didn't know what I was looking at or how bad it was or how good it was. Originally Power had estimated only 5 sheets of plywood would need to be replaced, which was on the quote. An individual did come over on the Wednesday before the installation. He went upstairs to the attic, took videos and photos, and told me how bad and terrible the plywood was. He said that I needed to get it replaced immediately. My thing is that if you go in the attic and make a statement like that, I want you to be honest with me and say that we had said 5 plywood boards would be replaced, but there might be more. None of that happened. Going back to the installation day, I had to project manage the whole project. There were no adults, so to speak, on the premises. The people who were working were very nice, but the management failed the customer terribly by not being there and not providing any answers to anything.
During the installation, the crew damaged the ceiling in my bedroom, which apparently happens. On the day of the installation, I spoke with a gentleman, I think his name was Chris, who said that someone would be in touch with me on Monday regarding the fix for the ceiling. Monday came, and I didn't hear from anyone. At about 6 o'clock, a car pulled into my driveway. It was the quality assurance person taking over and reviewing the project. I didn't know who he was. No one told me that he was coming. I was surprised by it but thought it was great because I was able to walk him through my experience and how this all took place. All I heard from him was "I am sorry," but really no action. I asked about who I was supposed to hear back from regarding my ceiling. He stepped outside to make a call to find out, but I wasn't part of that conversation. He came back in and said they weren't coming that day but would be there Friday. I told him that I expected a phone call from the crew a day before, letting me know what time they were coming, because I couldn't sit home all day just waiting for them to show up. I did get a phone call from a gentleman by the name of Chris, who said they would be here that day between 8 and 10. No one showed up. I called the office, and they didn't know what was going on. It was so unprofessional.
In summary, with Power Home Remodeling, there is no communication, zero explanation on anything, and no apology. If a customer is experiencing this type of trouble, I would expect that someone in management step up and take over. Be the point of contact, so I don't have to speak with a different person every time. Step up and be the person to figure out what is going on and make the situation better for the homeowner.
Ultimately, the whole project was nothing but a big debacle. I had no one to communicate with during the project, no communication from the company, and no apologies. Also, Chris had the audacity to get on the phone and tell me that the reason there wasn't a supervisor here was because that person got caught up with another customer with a bigger problem. That made me pause for a second. To tell a customer who is having a problem with their installation that there is another homeowner that is more important to Power because you think it is a bigger problem is absurd. You should never tell another customer that they're not important, because guess what? My home and my project are everything to me, and I expect that I will be handled as such.
This is an example of poor management of work, over-promising, and under-delivering. That's how I would sum this up. I was told that I could just call, but I needed someone present at my house to speak with. I felt rushed and had zero answers to my questions because the crew didn't speak English. I am floored. I'm absolutely floored. If I did my job that way, I would be fired.
Also, I understand that the cost that I signed the project with can be changed a little. The assessor who came in to assess the project and work on the price saw that the plywood was not the worst from the outside but was worse from the inside. I ended up spending 30% more on this project than I budgeted, and I had to make that decision in 5 minutes. However, if I didn't ask questions and tell them to stop proceeding, they would not have replaced the plywood that needed to be replaced. They would have just covered the rotted plywood with the new roofing shingles. It would have been terrible in the end if I hadn't stood outside and asked the questions that needed to be asked but just fully trusted the installers. I spent $17,000 for a roof of 1,200 square feet. The house is one floor, 828 square feet of living space. It is a tiny house. I think I was robbed and ripped off, and this project was poorly managed. When the quality assurance person came in, he was very nice and very polite. But he tried to offer me a solution, which would put me in even more debt by offering to lower the interest rate by two points. I said let's do that, but the catch was that I needed to engage in a new project. That was so misleading and not clear. Power Home Remodeling does a lot of schmoozing up front.
I am highly likely to recommend your services to others.
Too many chiefs. was told I was getting a 11 man crew to install 26 windows so it would only be 1 day. Only 3 and it has 2 days 21 hours total and they still haven't cleaned everything up. Sales was ok but never followed up when requested. Then so many phone calls and told beginning on the 9-1.
Then someone called and asked if 8-10 was ok they would have an 11 man crew be done in a day. We said ok. Was told they would call to confirm. Received a call on the 6th or 7th the crew would be there 8-10 at 8am. 5 showed but 2 left around 11. It was only 100 + that day. Wife is bedridden and had the crew working in that room for a half a day but the whole house had to open with no AC.
Work was great love the windows and doors so much We ordered a front door from them
But way to much corporate for me a lot of empty promises and no response back
Very professional
The crews they sent out were awesome; I had no problems with the workmanship. It was with the sales rep and how they handled a few things.
Good communication before and during the work. Crew responsive and respectful.
Guys did great work on trim
They are a little pricey, but they did a good job.
So far so good, will update when completed. Have only had a few windows done so far so can’t say too much yet.
Clean up better and stand behind what you say
I would absolutely recommend Power Home Remodeling and Pella Windows to anyone considering replacing their windows. I think they look phenomenal, and, the team did an excellent job.
Experience was good overall. Work seems to have been done well and for and acceptable price.
