The reason I gave Power Home Remodeling a 2-star on recommending them to others is because they are promising a product of one quality, but their delivery of that product, or the installation quality and installer quality of the product, isn't that good. It's not really the product; it's who they use to do the installation. They're supposed to be top of the line, and they use subpar contractors, or subcontractors, to do the work.

We had our windows and roof done by Power and so far we are happy with the process.

Communication skills from office representatives to my wife and I about issues with damaged new front door replacement had to be done by us to receive information.

I’m honestly very disappointed with my experience with Power Home Remodeling’s window installation. From start to finish, there was a clear lack of communication and follow-through. What was promised during the sales process was not carried through by the installation team, and no one took accountability.

Several key details were simply ignored. One window was supposed to be built up… it wasn’t. Another was supposed to retain the original larger sill for plants to sit on… it wasn’t. Another was supposed to be a picture window… it was not.

They left window trim unfinished. There was also a dented window screen. The window trim & screen has been fixed, which I am happy about.

There is also a cracked window that they are currently ordering to replace.

Beyond the installation issues, the crew was careless with my home and belongings. They broke a light, a stand, and multiple plants. At one point, I had just finished setting up a plant, and a worker immediately knocked it over due to a lack of awareness and care. What’s most frustrating is that there were no apologies or acknowledgment for any of the damage… they simply left as if nothing had happened.

Overall, this experience felt rushed, unprofessional, and disrespectful to my home. I expected much better attention to detail and communication for a project of this scale and price for installing 17 windows.

I’d strongly recommend choosing a local company that keeps their work in-house rather than outsourcing… you’re far more likely to get consistent quality, clear communication, & accountability through the process.
