Most of the windows installed are not evenly spaced on all sides! One window they knew was shattered on the bottom sash was installed anyway! Now we have to wait and have a new sash ordered, made, and sent out! There will be at least a two week wait! It is definitely a safety hazard, several sharp edges exposed! One of the screens was ripped on one corner so they rescreened it in their truck and it is not tight, but left it like that anyway.. Also the cut screen has jagged edges exsposed. We Had to monitor one of the workers and make sure he did cut out the rotted wood on the sides of each widow and replace with new wood on all the windows, before he placed the new window frames!. When I pointed out the rotten wood areas he was trying to convince me the wood was fine, that’s when I realized he didn’t speak English so I had to find the other worker and show him the bad areas. The lead worker agreed with me and told the other worker to replace with new wood. I felt very frustrated having to find the lead worker to go and instruct the other worker to do the job properly. We were told by the sales representative that all Champion employees are educated and trained to installed all their products properly. Champion is asking for their final payment, so I asked for a representative to come out and inspect the final installation. I was given a appointment time frame for someone to come out on Tuesday march 24th between 8am and noon. At 11:45 they called and said they were running a little late. No problem I told them. At 1pm I called and they said he is still at the other site. So after waiting 5 hours I had to cancel and reschedule because I pick my granddaughter up from school everyday! We rescheduled for Friday ! Mitch came out on time, which I appreciated greatly. I explained and showed him all my concerns and disappointments with the day of installation. I felt like he did more defending of the workings than validating my issues! For Example, when I explained having to tell the one worker that the rotten wood needed to be replaced, and that he didn’t want to replace it Mitch asked if I had taken pictures of the bad wood!!! I told him it was a” no brainer” the wood was mushy and I could push it in with my finger as well as it was black in color! And that I had to go get the lead worker to show him and of course without doubt he told the worker to replace it! Mitch basically said since he couldn’t see it he couldn’t address that issue! Another issue, on the first four windows that were installed and cleaned, all the bottom stickers/labels were taken off, the rest were left for us to remove! Mitch said they should never be removed!!! I told him, I have never heard of that, and if that’s true, why were some removed and the rest left? My husband and I had Champion windows installed in another home of ours approximately 18 years ago and were extremely pleased with everything we had done! So of course we trusted that this time would be the same, but, unfortunately this has not been the same experience! Sincerely Tom and Sherry Smith
After waiting 12 weeks for installation the two baywindows were built incorrectly and at delivery would not fit my application because Champions man that measures windows measured wrong.
Took Champion Greensboro NC more than 11 months to build correctly and install two baywindows.
Attention to detail
Great quality. Staff prompt and courteous.
I had many disapoints this go around with Champion as a repeat customer I was looking forward to the professionalism that I received before. A week or two after my order was placed long after my a part of my order didn't come in the finished that I wanted because the material only comes in specific colors, which was fine. Then a couple of days before my doors were to be installed the front door was damaged while loading it, so I asked if the other four could be installed and then the front door could be installed after it is remade. I was told no, that all of them had to be installed on the same day. So the installation was rescheduled, after that we had bad weather and the doors had to be rescheduled again, so come the 3rd install date my order of doors was installed without all six doors, only three. When I asked the installment leader he told me that they only told him three doors. I said no I'm paying for six doors at a total of $24,000 which means all my doors should have been sent, giving that there has been an ample amount of time to have my order delivered correctly. Then for the fourth time I had to rescheduled another installation fir the other doors. There was a lot of human errors this go around which caused too many interruptions in my family's schedule to because of the rescheduling around this project
We are very pleased with Champion. We replaced all the windows in our house. Our salesman Jeremy Gattenby was wonderful to work with. The installation process was extremely professional and precise. Our older home required quite a bit of trim work around the outside of the windows and it was done exceptionally well!
The look of windows and how fast they got done
Jeremy is wonderful. The installation crew did good work. The windows are beautiful.
Paperwork was signed on June 28, 2025 and wasn't completed until January 28, 2026. I had to initiate communications almost ever step of the way to get updates. At one point, I was told I needed to contact the electrician subcontractor to see when he would be out. That seems like it would be the project manager's responsibility.
Finally, I don't think I received a quality product for the price. Time will tell.
The overall process was very poor. Door was not what we ordered. Door was damaged upon installation and follow up was poor.
The quality of windows and professional installation
My problem is not so much in the quality of your material it is in the scheduling of the work. Yes this is the holiday season but I was assured that this project would be completed by Christmas so my family could enjoy the new four season addition to our house here it is Jan 3 the electrical work has not even been started let alone completed and I do not even have a definite start date just a well I should be able to be there around the first or second week of January we will see if this happens.
Weeks after we paid the first installment we had to sign an addendum changing the storm door because the company changed model numbers and it no longer matched. Salesperson said he thought it was the same door. Didn't inspire confidence. More than half the money due upfront is ridiculous as well.
Champion Windows are first class! From the sale through the installation was highly professional!
Ease of setting up appointment online, convenient appointment times, friendly salesperson, efficient installation, quality product with guarantee warranty
na
Communication was poor.
Everything
Excellent product and teamwork which led to a great end product
Very high quality product, along with a warranty to back it up.
Sales rep was knowledgeable and thorough. His presentation was professional and provided the assistance we needed for making our decisions.
Your product is massively overpriced, by maybe 500%
Project was bilt to specifications
We did not get matching hardware on our doors which is the only reason we went with champion. Also we requested repairs on our current champion product with a lifetime guarantee and we're told there would be $189 trip charge and them a fee to fix the screens and the sliding door.
The measure tech came in like a bull in a china shop resulting in poor measurements and ill fitting windows.
