I went with a company that I thought was in good standings knew what they were doing, but it all went wrong. It took over 11 months to build a sunroom on a deck that the sales person said they could build on but they could not so they shortened my deck put a landing on it and was supposed to put a 10 x 10 sunroom, which is not a 10 x 10. The communications from the company to me was not done if I wanted to know anything I had to call the sales person or try to get a hold of somebody at the factory in Denver that had no idea what was going on. They did not have a work order at one time. The sales person I think is a lying cheating person telling me that this is done and that’s done and when I called the county, nothing had been submitted then when the building came, it does not fit right it is not a 10 x 10 the screen frames do not match up with the building frame therefore bugs get in and Out the windows were supposed to be double pain. They done single pain within two days condensation set in the company did replace the windows, but the design is still a flaw. I am very disappointed in Champion as it’s supposed to be one of the better companies, but the experience that I had, I would never recommend Champion to anyone.
Liked the windows
The quality of the windows do not match the amount we paid.
Quality product and great service!
the process was so long from when we first ordered the job to when it actually started, but your installers did a absolutely great job and our patio looks great !!! thank you!!!
High pressure sales tactics, worse communication with commuincation once contract is signed, do not disclose that windows do not qualify for energy Tax credit as they do not provide QMID
The whole process was smooth.
Very professional job done by installer. Quite pleased.
I feel that we purchased a goo long lasting sliding door.
Scott was too aggressive, install crew needed to do the little things. We all ready have a issue with the windows
Don't buy from Champion Windows.
The window
good quality windows
Lack of follow through, lack of responsiveness
Timing
A triple pane sliding glass door to my lanai was ordered at the end of September 2025. I was very impressed with Ryan, my salesman. He said he'd be there for me through the whole process. That was reassuring. But then the wrong door was delivered November 13th. (2 pane glass not 3) and because I had already paid for 90% of the door, with no door in sight,
(I got an email regarding the reorder, but I was hoping to speak to a person regarding this situation, and no one called.)
this was a big problem for me, and I got a little nervous. Remembering what Ryan had said, I called him on December 4th. He said he understood my concerns, and he would check into it and get back to me. He did not. Not wanting to bother him, I let it go. My error. On December 17th, Shea from scheduling called, to let me know my new door was in, and would be installed in a month, as it required a 2 man install. Install date was set for January 14th. So on January 13th I prepped my install area again, but when the installers showed up this time, they only had the glass panels, no frame. I could not believe it!!
Nobody had any idea where the frame was. And in my mind lurked the question how the frame had been separated from the glass panels. (ie when I sent back the 2 paned glass door in November, I had chosen that a whole new door be ordered, not just a glass replacement. So this was confusing. And disturbing. Did I get the right door, or just some piecemeal replacement? I tried to let that worry go.) But to continue. At this point in January, Amy in scheduling had become my contact person, and she was very helpful. She gave me her personal phone line so I could get directly in touch with her. It took 2 days, but they'd found the frame and the installers were to arrive on the 16th between 8am and 11am. Amy reached out to me at 10am, on the day of delivery, letting me know they were running late. The installers arrived at noon, and were very professional and thorough through the entire install process. I had no issues at all with them.
I do believe however, that the measurements taken of my door were a couple of inches too short. The threshold of the bottom runner is so high I have to be very mindful to take a very high step, or I stub my toe. This was NOT an install error, I am sure, They had to fill in the door from the top opening as well as build it up from the bottom to make it fit. Perhaps I should have let somebody know of this, but I was in no frame of mind to go through another ordering process, and decided to just live with it. Whether or not it will become an issue at rersale, remains to be seen.
Champion did give me a 3.5% reimbursement for the delivery issues, which I do appreciate. And Shea was very helpful expediting this process.
The door being too tall is another issue. But since I would not go through another door ordering process, it's a mute point.
But I have stated my concerns, and hopefully they will be duly noted.
While the installation team was professional, the project is not fully complete. We are currently missing three screens, and six screens were measured incorrectly and need to be remade. Although a service request has been opened, we have not received any communication regarding timeline or next steps. More proactive communication and quality control before completion would significantly improve the experience.
Additionally, we were not informed that the black exterior finish is painted rather than integral to the material. There are visible scratches on multiple exterior frames. Given the premium price of these windows, clearer expectations about materials and finish durability would have been appreciated.
Not sure
The Champion of Denver region from the start to the end did nearly everything wrong. Their sales department said they had built a number of four season rooms in the mountain areas of Denver. They said the 4” frame would be right when it didn’t pass the snow load requirement. Not only did it have to be upgraded to 6”, but it required addition beams. This held up the design for several months. They then let it sit in the county building permit department for months, shifting the install/completion date from Aug/Sept to this Feb (a year later). The thing they did do right was not charge us for the mistake to upgrade the design for snow load and bringing out-of-state installers to build the room during the freezing cold months. They also threaten to put a lien on our property when asked three times verbally and twice in writing for the COO from the county inspector before we would pay the final 10%. For this and several other details, we could not recommend the Denver region to anyone. I will say the room addition is a very good product — very good design.
very professional and polite.
If I could give you a -10 I would. Quality of windows is terrible-double hung windows don’t seal-and the solution is weather stripping. One window has been replaced twice in 3 years. Broke siding on house at install and did not tell, I discovered later. It takes months for service to respond. I can NEVER get a hold of a live person in Denver. Have had nothing but issues for 3years and no one there cares. I am sure no one will reach out after reading this either. I have pages of documentation of all the issues. I tell everyone I know NOT to use Champion.
Only if they ask.
Will know more after we have had them for awhile but they are beautiful windows
Overall very professional
The install, quality, and sale was great. They gave us a pretty large window of several months between sale and install. It definitely came within the last week or two of that window but, it was within the window. I just wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is in a hurry or lacks patience.
