Will know more after we have had them for awhile but they are beautiful windows
Overall very professional
The install, quality, and sale was great. They gave us a pretty large window of several months between sale and install. It definitely came within the last week or two of that window but, it was within the window. I just wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is in a hurry or lacks patience.
Currently it is difficult to close the door so that it latches. Have to pull hard and knob
Expensive but good quality
Putting our home on market being delayed.
My experience with Champion Windows has been the worst I have ever had with a company. This project has now extended well beyond a year, despite the original contract signed on July 5, 2024, which included a verbal guarantee by Christian Valdes that installation would be completed within 6–8 weeks.
After that timeframe passed, I made repeated attempts to contact Champion, starting with Christian Valdes and working my way down the list of contacts that were provided to me: Brooklyn Smith, Luisa Sanchez, Chris Trojan, Ana Hernandez. I never received a response from any of these contacts. I then began calling customer service often multiple times per week, and each time I was told "someone from the Denver office will contact you within 24 hours". I never received a response from the Denver office through November 2024 and absolutely zero communication from Champion. Out of frustration, I filed for my first complaint with GreenSky. I requested to cancel the project but was told I would still be responsible for paying 30% of the contract total if I did so.
Once Green Sky was involved they were able to put me in contact with Scott Lenz. Scott informed me that installation would occur in December 2024—yet again, this deadline passed without follow-through. After ongoing efforts on my part, the initial install took place on February 4, 2025 - all three pieces of glass and one frame were either defective or damaged and needed replacement (I'm not sure why they are not inspected prior to leaving the warehouse as the damage was very noticeable before they were ever installed.) During that visit, Enoch explained all tempered glass used by Champion will be stamped or labeled. The replacement was scheduled for February 20, 2025, yet when I specifically asked if the glass had been inspected prior to installation, I was told it was too dirty to determine and would be cleaned following installation. One cleaned, some of the same defects were clearly visible. Additionally, the glass was not stamped or labeled. After speaking directly with the installers, I discovered that the glass was not a Champion product, but had been sourced locally. Even worse, it was of inferior quality, and did not meet code requirements for the size of the. The originally installed tempered glass—required for safety—was replaced with standard, non-compliant glass.
This alone was extremely concerning, but the problems continued. As of April 2025, one of the windows had cracked and began leaking. I notified Scott and Jared of this issue in April 2025 by email with photos included. Jared then looped Mike Smith into the conversation, at which time I requested a written action plan addressing the outstanding problems, along with a timeline for resolution, which I never received. After repeated follow-ups, I did not get a response from Mike or Scott until June 6, 2025. At this point I had water damage to one of my interior walls, so I once again requested a written action plan and timeline, which I did not receive. Mike Smith Informed me the glass had been received and had been in the warehouse since May 2025, but was waiting for the frame to come in to install all at once. Mike Smith did not acknowledge the water leak or take any accountability for Champion's complete failure up to this point and never did provide an action plan or timeline for repair. Fast forward to November 2025, I am finally contacted for the new frame and glass installation. Installation was scheduled for November 12, 2025. When the install team arrives I ask them to inspect the glass prior to install, in which they again find one pane is defective. They decide to install the two they have, but immediately noticed the water damage (which I had informed Mike Smith and Jared Lenz in April 2025) and acknowledge the frame is damaged and need to be replaced. One pane of glass is installed.
Finally January 8, 2026 both pieces of glass and two frames are installed. Unfortunately, due to weather they were not able to fix the mess the original install team left (caulk smeared into my siding, damage to the trim and silicone spots on the windows). Andrew has been in contact and is planning to address these issues next week. Paco and team were very professional, courteous and very detail oriented. I would say the only to bright spot of this awful Champion experience came in January 2026 when working with Amy McGowan and Paco and his team. If they had been involved from the start all of this most likely would have been resolved a year ago.
I have a chain of 30+ emails if you're interested in viewing the lack of response, accountability and acknowledgment your management team provides.
If any of you had a similar experience with a company, would you recommend them to anyone?? A year and a half to install three windows, after I was sold on a 6 - 8 week install by your sales rep...... The amount of my time that was wasted trying to get Champion to fulfill their end of the contract is absolutely ridiculous. I will tell everyone to seek other options and run from Champion Windows!
Good customer service
We had a communication disconnect once our main windows were installed. They needed to remeaaure for our sliding doors and contact us when they were in. But we had to go down every avenue just to get someone to talk to respond back to us. It was poor customer service. We did however get it settled and worked out, but we shouldn’t have had to do that at all.
The project was completed within a month of signing the contract.
Champion Windows consistently delivered professional services throughout the entire project, from initial consultation to final installation. The installation team was highly skilled and efficient, completing the work quickly in a clean and organized manner, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and respect for our property. The windows themselves are incredibly impressive, eliminating drafts, providing increased sun protection and helping with energy efficiency.
I would never ever recommend Champion Windows to anyone. Their shady sales tactics are the most deceitful I have experienced in my 50+ years on this earth. The windows are not of the quality they purport to deliver, and are incredibly overpriced. Their online and radio marketing is a complete lie - "buy two, get two" does not exist. The salesperson even told me the fine print states that you are getting 50% off the cost to make the window, not the retail price. They start you incredibly high and then offer a 40% discount to make you feel like you're getting a deal. But when you do the math, they are still 1.5x to 2x comparable windows. There is no amount of monthly energy savings that can cover a $20,000 delta. Run from these guys.
Referral for peron who referred you to me has not been provided. Don't see much difference with the new windows and what I had
There were some issues at the time installation. Some of the issues are still not resolved.
2 windows were the wrong size. The installer convinced me to sign a paper saying everything was good. It’s been 2 months and champion has still done nothing to put in the correct sized windows. I have heard nothing. I’m never using this company again.
It took a year to build a sunroom, people made statements that were not factual. An in the process we were asked to add an addendum which added additional cost to the contract for an item was originally discussed with the original salesperson but was not to documented
The initial salesman was great. The installers were professional and did an awesome job. During the installation, however, the project manager/inspector attempted to up sell me 3 times while I was trying to work. Even when I bluntly told him that more windows were not in the budget and told him I didn’t need a quote, he pushed it on me anyway. I know how bad the windows in the house are. I live here. I also can’t stand pushy sales people. He even insisted he wasn’t on the sales team but he was CLEARLY trying to push more windows on me. It was a coin toss between champion and pella at the beginning of the project and I will NOT be returning to champion. I don’t remember the name of the initial sales man(who was awesome) and the rest of the people so I won’t be rating below.
I would not. Left 2 different messages and I have yet to get a call back.
The material and the quality went way down from the last 20 years
We originally ordered our window in August and were told it would take 8-10 weeks but did not have it installed until December. During these months we received little to no communication on updates or the status of our window from champions. All communication was prompted by us. We are unsatisfied with the company and how they handled the situation. Based on our experience with the team, errors and delays, we would not recommend this company.
It took more than 6 months and not finished yet, waiting and waiting. I paid majority 70% before they start the installation.
The crew that installed our new siding overall did a good job; however, their caulking ability leaves a lot to be desired. I would never have this crew do caulking.
Worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Took way too long, poor workmanship, quality of product doesn’t align with the cost.
The whole team was curtious and promt.
I am a 3-peat customer based on quality of product, service and instal.
Our $4,500 front door was delivered damaged and still no contact on when it will be fixed.
The on site PM could pay more attention to what is happening vs trying to sell me more windows.
Very poor business office
The doors are yet to be completed. The door to one unit was left incomplete, and installed without the correct door. It's November 14th 2025, and still nothing from Champion although they have been paid in full.
Your local office is a mystery. Phones look like spam on my end— not identifying Champion. They were not aware of the promised made by the installers to complete the project. They need training to look like a cohesive company. We placed the order and had some confusion with the local office in making the first installment payment. We told the salesman our schedule for a vacation out of the country. The local office called us during our vacation — several time zones away; thus the salesmen did not communicate well with he office.
I STILL after 2 yrs don’t have a completed job. HORRIBLE customer service.
My windows don’t even pass code
We ordered 7 windows in February, 2025 and in April they came to install all the windows. However, three of the windows were not made correctly and had to be re-made. They came out on September 6th to install the window and that was only AFTER we called to ask what was going on. The window was made with dirt in between the panes and the installers damaged our window seal! We have called on many occasions and talked to Al Norton who keeps saying he will call us back!! Still today, the window has not been fixed and we have heard nothing from Al Norton! The communication and customer service with this company is horrible!
The wrong door was written down from what we thought we were ordering. There was no "proof" to see the door before it was manufactured, so we have a door that is not quite what we wanted and Champion only offered a gift card.
I have been trying to get in contact with someone over two windows that were defective from the factory and no one has called back. The installer noted the defects when he installed the windows
great experience, the windows look great except for the kitchen window that needs to be fixed
Champion was recommended to me, and I'm honestly surprised by how smooth and easy the entire process was! Brock came out to do my quote, was friendly and to the point —typical salesman push —but got me a great deal and was super communicative. He always answered my text when I had a question. Payment was easy and spelled out for me, no weird or hidden costs. From quote to install was about 12 weeks, and the install itself was less than 4 hours. The guys who did the install were friendly, professional, and clean. My old windows were literally rotting and unable to open, but the new ones are leagues above in quality and function! And the overall result looks so sharp! I'm delighted with how everything went; there were literally no mistakes. Highly recommend and will use again the next time I need windows replaced!
Expensive but hopefully will be worth it
No.
Install went good, installers nice, but
exterior caulking subpar.
Makes me wonder about what I can't see
Communication was delayed. Issues finally addressed. When the repair guy came he was polite, fixed the screen that was torn on install; also assess back patio screen door. He said the sliding door seems to be installed inproperly, said he would let the company know, and we would hear back.
would likely recommend
I was very pleased with the entire process. From the sales rep, Geoff Brown, the ladies in the office, to the installation by Paco + one helper. Every thing went smooth, the windows were ready, sooner then I thought. With Champion Windows, everything is done under one roof. Most important the price!
I would feel comfortable about referring Champion windows.
They are very fairly priced. Their staff communicated their process and set accurate expectations. Then they did what they said they would. The installer did a great job and the door was exactly what I wanted!!!
Very easy to work with all the employees. Also reliable. Showed up when promised. In addition, initially I was told it would be November for the installment. Installation was mid-October.
I received the wrong window from what I had ordered. Champion didn’t want to make any monetary adjustments for my keeping the wrong window when I didn’t want to have my home disrupted again for another window
The installation was of poor quality.
Fast service
Love the windows and speedy effective service!
He did a great job for a one man putting siding up
