As a starter home, sure. But for Ashton Woods to call themselves 'luxury" home builder is not what I would tell people they are/build.
We had a great experience with Ashton Woods! Huge thanks to Matt, our sales representative, for making the buying process easy and stress free, and to Aaron, our construction/project manager, for his excellent communication and attention to detail throughout the build. We highly recommend Ashton Woods and appreciate everything they did for us!
Excellent design
I had fantastic customer support from the builder and their support team.
We found our dream home and truly feel blessed that Justin listened and guided us to our forever home.
We would absolutely recommend Ashton Woods Homes to our friends and family. From our very first meeting through closing, everyone we worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making the experience a positive one.
My experience with the sales team was good, but I am not pleased with my property at the moment.
Ashton Woods Homes are very beautifully designed, and we get good options.
My name is Morgan and I will be filling this survey out on behalf of my husband. He never leaves reviews...
Several homeowners in our neighborhood, including us, are experiencing unusually high water bills with no clear explanation. This is unacceptable and needs to be investigated. Because of this ongoing issue, I have stopped recommending this neighborhood to friends and family until this is resolved. I genuinely wish that weren't the case, but something is clearly not right. If I had known about this issue before buying, I likely would have been hesitant to purchase a home in Tea Farm.
Everyone at every step of purchasing my home went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
Everyone has been extremely helpful and they have made it very clear that if I have any questions or concerns they want me to let them know right away so they can help me. Especially Meghan and Stephen. I feel they are looking out for me.
The process was very smooth, even with the mortgage lender. They had very fast communication and always answered any questions.
Everyone I’ve encountered at AW has been incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Everyone answers questions promptly and thoroughly, so I was never in the dark about any part of the purchasing process.
Cadence made the homebuying process very smooth from start to finish. The home itself is beautiful and I'm very pleased with my purchase
I don’t believe the quality; wood, insulation or pride in workmanship is present. Especially when it comes to insulation. You would think, in a state that is this hot and humid, good insulation (a tight house) would be a great selling point. This price range allows new home owners to have a shot at the American dream… then you get your first utility bill!
The wood used around doors is shameful. I found one broken piece before we moved in. They put putty on it then repainted. The wood was not intact, it was split and broken.
We have walls that are not straight, but It only drives me crazy when I’m mopping.
I watch the homes go up in my neighborhood so fast. Then I think about the crooked walls we have and the trim that is not intact and I wonder if all that could be changed easily by slowing down a little and taking pride in the work you are doing.
One last thing. We didn’t end up buying the home we wanted. You look and look. You finally find the right one, you go back a few days later and the price has changed by $30,000.
WTH? I’m a widower doing my best and that kind of thing makes my blood boil like no other. It seemed like every other week it changed.
In conclusion, Take pride in what you build. Choose a fair reliable price and stick with it for a minute. I truly understand making money but that issue hangs on like a bad memory and sadly it’s what we end up sharing with folks that ask about our experience.
We love our neighborhood. The homes are charming. The sales people , James and Chris were great.
We are disappointed with some of the appliances in our home.
I had a great experience with Ashton Woods Home.
The quality of materials and workmanship in our home does not match the price point that we paid. Many things that I would expect from a million dollar home in 2026, such as PEX piping or ZIP System sheathing, are absent. Had I known these things before signing the contract I would have chosen a different builder. These are choices that saved Ashton Woods money in the short term and will cost the home buyer in the long term.
My biggest disappointment throughout this experience was the lack of communication. Purchasing a home is one of the largest investments most people will make, and I often felt I had to chase updates rather than receive them proactively. There were multiple occasions where I had to repeatedly follow up to learn the status of financing, closing, or warranty items. Better communication and more frequent updates would have made the experience significantly less stressful.
Not be rushed thru closing and taking more time to go over all registrations, etc.
The build quality of the home is fantastic, and they were pretty responsive during the home-buying process.
Was a great experience, both Andy in sales and the building manager Josh were consummate professionals! Highly recommend
Over a month and I still don’t have keys for all my doors. The vinyl flooring has deep scratches and paint was dribbled around the floor. Several pieces of trim are damaged and it looks like the dirt was painted over in some locations. These are just the things I can see. I can only imagine how bad the stuff I can’t see must be.
Overall great experience from start to finish. The team was knowledgeable, communicative, and delivered on their promises.
Top notch every step of the way.
