The quality of the materials and home in general seem very high

The builder has not addressed all of the items we listed on our day of closing walk through. Also, the builder has not responded to several attempts to correct issues.

I love my house. I love the whole finance department through Ashton Woods; I just don't love the project manager and the warranty.

Built quality is not great. Too many corners cut

Although I have only had the opportunity to work directly with Andrew, Ashton Woods’ representative, I want to recognize the outstanding service he has provided throughout the various issues and concerns we have experienced since moving into our home. Andrew has been professional, communicative, responsive, and proactive in ensuring that identified issues are addressed and corrections are completed in a timely manner. His dedication and willingness to help have been greatly appreciated.

While we continue to work on some outstanding concerns regarding the home and the overall construction experience, I want to make it clear that my feedback regarding Andrew is very positive. He has been a pleasure to work with and has demonstrated a level of customer service that deserves recognition. I hope the remaining issues will continue to be resolved satisfactorily so that we can have the positive homeownership.

workmanship of the house lacked, service from the HOA and Ashton woods communication is non existent. The warranty portal doesn't work right. I had to figure a work around to get claims to go in. Things that were promised to be done on the blue tape were not done and have taken months and constant reminders

Ashton Woods provided us the opportunity to purchase our first home for our family. We could not be more pleased with the home and all the help Ashton Woods provided us during this milestone moment for our families future.

You refused to remove trees and brush that were cut down during land clearing and thrown at the back property lines. Was told it’s not your responsibility.

Still waiting on my slider door to get fixed, AW knew it was bad 3 months before I moved in 2 months ago and still not fixed. Bern a laundry list of issues with the house and less than satisfactory urgency by Ashton Woods.

My experience was fantastic! The sales rep, Royce, was so easy to work with and answered all my questions. My construction manager, Aaron, stuck to the schedule, had regular meetings with us and fixed anything we needed.

A few days after moving in there was rain and I got a roof leak in the garage. I put in a warranty claim and the process still hasn't been completed. The first person came out in August but the claim still hasn't been finished. The project manager stopped answering my calls.

We will recommend Ashton Woods Homes to anyone we know looking to purchase a new home.

I liked everything. The entire staff, from sellers to builders. The location. The house styles. All doing whatever they can to help me.

We had such a positive experience. From start to Finish Andy Perez made everything so smooth and easy. Dustin Zigmond the construction manager was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through our whole house and gave us every detail it made us very confident in knowing our home.

Ashton Woods Homes made a mistake with my bathroom doorknob, but it is okay—the house is really amazing.

Sales team is really good. Brade was the reason I closed the deal. The back office team is something I would refrain from ever talking again. Please don't put Dennis in front or in communication with clients. You will start losing clients. I had to be honest with two other friends of mine about it. Not sure if they will buy AW.

Working with the Ashton Woods sales, design, and construction teams was a great experience. Each of them were knowledgeable, patient, and a pleasure to work with. Everyone I dealt with really seemed to take pride in their work. A family member recently worked with a different builder in the area and had a much less positive experience so I am happy we made the decision to go with Ashton Woods.

From the moment we had our final walk through and even after our closing it has not been the best experience. Our project manager Josh never did what he said he would and was the worst communicator. Even my neighbors who has him as his PM had similar experience. I have stuff on my house that was claimed to be corrected and never was. I also have some craftsman issues that Kelly and Sara are claiming is cosmetic. It’s a shame over $1m in two homes bought in the same week and this is how Ashton Woods works with their customers.

The house was not complete when we moved in. The craftsmanship on the home is very underwhelming. There are still many touch-ups that need to be done and warranty claims that will need to be submitted, even after a long list of things has already been addressed. Ultimately, the house seemed rushed, and it did not seem complete—especially not to the level of our expectations for a home of this size and price point.

We love our home and feel very comfortable. It is extremely quiet. The building is still going on and we never hear is one building away.

Initially, when I started with them, the process was very smooth with Gretchen Weber. She was wonderful. When we had some setbacks, she represented Ashton Woods fully and made sure we completed the home. I will be recommending my family and friends.

Our experience wasn’t great

We love our new home

We have been experiencing ongoing issues with our AC system since day one, and unfortunately, we have had an extremely difficult time getting the issue properly addressed and resolved.

We are now approaching four months of dealing with excessive heat inside our home due to this ongoing AC issue. This has been incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable, especially given the extreme Texas heat.

We were recently informed by the HVAC company that the issue may be related to how the system was designed and installed by the builder. We were told that there are concerns with the installation, including insufficient insulation, and that the AC system may be undersized for the size of our home.

After investing in a brand-new home, we expected the HVAC system to adequately cool the house and perform as it should. Having to deal with these conditions for nearly four months is unacceptable and has significantly impacted our experience as homeowners.

If we had known we would experience these ongoing issues with the AC system and the difficulty involved in getting them resolved, we would have seriously considered choosing a different builder. We are asking that this issue be treated as a priority and that a proper, permanent solution be provided rather than continuing to make temporary adjustments.

And I did recommend to a couple of friends. We had issues but they all get addressex.

1 standard fixtures are beautiful, 2 I was kept informed every step of the process. 3. The walk thru was very detailed, Dustin noticed flaws that I missed. 4. I did not feel pressured to purchase.

Plenty of space for your money

I don’t think I would recommend as the house is expensive and some things feel cheap and we’re not done good. For example, the cabinet company has people who do not work for the company, they drop off the cabinets and install them, they don’t care if the cabinets are broken or scratched they just install them, not caring how they look because they don’t work for the company. I would rather go through a builder that works for the company and does things nice and neat.

We like our home, but needs better quality control.

Because of Taylor Harper, & David Simpson, I am in a brand new move-in ready 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, Den, Dining Room, Living Room, 2 car garage, & nice big backyard, on 1,494 square footage home! Closed on June 12, 2026. Also, give a shout out to Miguel Hernandez, who went through all necessities of my new home through my walk through process. There was one incident where my master bedroom door, the paint chipped, which is a mystery because I ran the AC.

Josh has been great to work with. He gets my needs fixed quickly

Cameron has always been really helpful and responsive answering our questions. Even helped us set up the washing pan for our washer.
