The craftsmanship and attention to detail were very poor. The house measurements and design execution were inaccurate, and the quality of the work did not meet expectations. The finished outcome was extremely disappointing, especially considering the investment made in the project. I expected much better workmanship and precision.

I feel like the home was a good value for the price and the construction manager was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Quality of home in general is good, but landscaping, concrete and fencing is poor. Resolution is difficult and poorly supported by your subcontractors.

Unsure. I have not moved into my new home yet. I am also not pleased withe the quality of the wooden privacy dividers between the townhomes as they are uneven and already starting to warp after just a few months.

I really enjoyed the time with Tyler and Mark. Tyler gave a great introduction and review of the house and Mark not only did a good job explaining the next steps, but gave great information about on going maintenance. And I love the house! I moved on a holiday weekend, the title company was short on communication and we had a major problem with gate access the first two days. Secure pro people were fine, but the Enzlo system came with no instruction and with frustrating process. I wish the Enzo system was as clear as the Cellgate app. I still have no idea how to use Enzlo

Workers are almost completely unsupervised while building these homes, they do the bare minimum they can get by with and nobody seems to care

There is a major safety issue which has not been resolved. Which until now they have refused to resolve. Probably because it is only a problem for me? But if there was ever a fire in my kitchen and I was in my bedroom, I would not be able to get out! Because of the way the door opens, I could not use my walker to safely evacuate!

I'll be warey of the price listed on the MLS and will warn my clients

We have had a bad experience with the construction manager asssigned to us, Stephen. Up to this date. We keep on pushing and trying to close pending stuff with him.

I thought it looked shattered from the window. We have cathedral ceilings, but you can see the wall studs when you come through the entryway because of the sheetrock. I have had my family members come in, and I am 67 years old, and my eyesight is not what it used to be, but they said there are wall stubs showing through.

It's really just because I bought the house at a much higher purchase price than what they're selling them for now.

Ashton Woods Home was very professional. The project manager was awesome—every time I had a question, he was attentive and answered all my concerns. Even after the house was built and we moved in, if we saw him in the area, we could stop him and ask any questions or discuss any concerns, and he was always willing to help.
Everyone was very professional, including Mike, the sales representative. Every time we visited the office, he was attentive, and if he didn’t know the answer to our question, he would get back to us or direct us to someone who could help.
At the Design Center, Kelly Cornell was wonderful. She had a lot going on, but she always got back to me. She was very helpful in coordinating colors, very patient, and explained in detail why certain things would or wouldn’t work. She made the process of picking out the design very smooth and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend Ashton Woods and their design team. Everyone was on a different level of professionalism, and their courtesy was outstanding. Whenever we had a problem or issue, we weren’t given the runaround.

The experience with the house and builder wasn’t bad at all. However warranty process was sub par and still have unresolved issues after 3 months on waiting and unkept promises.

Ashton Woods could do better. The entire sales experience was fine until I got to the closing, when I realized they had included a penalty clause for delays in closing—which could be beyond my control—and it was placed in the fine print at the bottom. I felt like they were trying to deceive the buyer instead of being helpful. When I mentioned that the closing could be delayed by a couple of days, they said I would have to pay a $500-per-day penalty. Ashton Woods has a tendency to include penalty clauses in the contract if there is a delay in closing.

The entire process went very well for me. All my interactions from sales, studio, and construction were positive. Highly recommend AW.

We are very unhappy with cheap internal content that is mixed in with expensive upgrades. We were lied to about the availability of the home we wanted to buy. We were told the home was sold, when this was not the case.

I celebrate my closing this home today with mixed emotions. AW has not resolved a year long plumbing and dishwasher issue. I’m losing patience.

I have some concerns about the details, especially about the garage. There are cracks left and leaks that Ashton Woods Homes said were normal. That is the only concern I had.
