Woods installed a new roof over our house and garage this summer. They also repaired facia and installed new gutters. Our historic house is 2.5 stories with a really steep-pitched roof. It previously had inferior gutters, causing water in the basement, and rotting crown molding that let bats infest our attic. Their crew was not intimidated and completed the entire house according to schedule, solved all the roof-related issues, and were professional throughout the whole process.We chose to work with Woods after getting bids from two other Sioux Falls contractors. We worked through insurance proceeds, which requires additional patience and persistence. Again, Woods was not intimidated. They have experience with the insurance claims process and put in extra work to satisfy both our expectations as customers and the demands of the insurance adjusters. Another reason we chose Woods is that they only employ their own crews to do the work, unlike other big roofing companies who hire sub-contractors to meet demand. This allows them to have more control over the quality of work, and to keep their crews working year-round. The foremen who worked on our house, Herin for the roof and Israel for the gutters (if I remember their names right) have decades of experience and have worked with Woods for a good portion of their careers. They were courteous and communicated with us regularly throughout the job.We highly recommend Woods Roofing for experienced quality work, and even more for the attention of a small business.
