Love our new doors and windows! The husband and wife team of installers, Johnathon & Taree Russell are by far their best installers! Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and we highly recommend requesting them for your home project!
I would recommend them to a friend because everything was outstanding, great service, and quality products.
Not pushy at all and very detailed oriented when explaining everything.
You did what you said you would do .
Insulation husband wife team very knowledgeable. Had windows up in 4 hrs. Helped me with blinds. They had to be moved up.
Very professional and timely
Window World replaced my old porch windows with floor to ceiling windows on the two outside walls of the porch. They are beyond my expectations beautiful. My living room, dining room and master bedroom all have sliders opening out to the porch. So this room is an integral part of the house. These windows have changed the feel of the whole house. My salesman, Christian Rossi, has been extremely helpful and professional throughout the process.
They make sure to get it right!
Windows poor quality, very hard to open, top part of double-hang windows always slide down. Inadequate foam insulation. I replaced 20 year old windows that performed better in every case but the glass pane. Very disappointing.
Installer were rushing and rude.
During initial installation they made numerous mistakes like not replacing broken wood boards and lied that they did when i asked them. Did not clean well the window opening before putting the new windows. Rushed to close the windows with minimal foam insulation that is now causing heat transfer in the house. Damaged one of the window frame and had to come later for replacement. A few windows didn’t open easy and it takes a few moves to push up-down-up to close/lock the window properly. Our kitchen windows is extremely hard to use now. Other windows require immense amount of force to open. At the end installers reduce the price with $600 because they didn’t replace any wooden boards but later tried to charge me for it, see below.
I marked the work as INCOMPLETE…No follow up from management at all. Besides this survey that probably no one will ever read.
When installers, came back a month later to replace the damaged window, they were again RUDE and rushed. While removing my window they broke the drywall… and tried to patch it unsuccessfully… now the wall looks terrible. Manager offered to send someone to fix but never did! Also, Installers rushed to close and finish the new window without cleaning old debris and without any insulation foam. I had to stop them and specifically ask for it…Later they lied and tried to force me into sign a document that would charge me again the $600 that were take off the first time. Never fixed the wall and the issue with the other windows not opening well and just got in their truck and left.
During all of this I spoke with a WindowWorld manager, his name is Keith, about the inadequate foam insulation. My neighbor had their windows replaced and there is no heat visible inside through infrared camera. My windows are all red around the window frame due to inadequate insulation. The manager was making excuses that these windows are installed differently. So at the end my understanding is that WindowWorld windows are that low quality that do not insulate properly external heat as they should.
Outstanding performance by every element in the sales, service, and installation. I was surprised how quickly and efficiently the project was completed.
Installation was great but the communication is lacking a bit after the installation was completed. I had a couple of minor things I mentioned to 2 different people and have not gotten a response. Project is paid for and now customer service is the sticking point. That alone wouldn't allow me to recommend Window World.
fewer returns for missing parts
Ordering and installation took six months. Missing parts caused the extended time. We were told it would be 2-3 months.
The first installation was a little rough, but the second team was great. The sales representative left a lot to be desired.
Good installation
I leave a good note here, counting on Window World to correct their mistake!
Quality of sub contractors
Great installation
Price is good, but you get what you pay for. 1st crew left debris on my garage roof and yard. Windows were wrong size. 2nd crew couldn't install the corrected windows because they didn't have scaffolding and 3rd crew damaged the dry wall around the window upon installation.
It was too long a process. They made the wrong door for a handicapped guy. Making the wrong door was a mistake, but taking six weeks more to get the new door was a little bit different. Then they promised me an extra $200 off, and I never got 10cents off. I had to give my tenants $1500 off their rent so they could stay at another place because they couldn't open the door, and I get nothing. The door wasn't cheap by any means.
The installers worked great as a team. Everything went smoothly and it was all cleaned up when they left. The windows look great and now almost no sound from the outside. Well done!
I've already referred them to one niehgbor who has used them.
Kept us updated throughout the whole process. Pricing was very low compared to other vendors for same product type. Great warranty, better than other vendors.
Great Product as well as a great Installation Crew. I am likely to recommend Window World of Tampa to a friend with a comment that if schedule is a priority, my experience indicates that other alternatives might need to be considered.
The workers were very professional and seemed knowledgeable of the installation process.
