Crew left quite a mess, damaged dry wall, brick, window sills, wood trim, left glass and nails in yard
Install crew did a nice job. Left the house and yard looking great. Window are great to have replaced.
The transparency and ease of the whole process. Very friendly staff.
Please see my answer to questions #12 and #19
The window was ordered without grids and we had to reorder 2 times before the grids were correct. It took 12 weeks to get our new window completed.
The professionalism of the installers and the ease of installation exceeded my expectations.
Start to finish this was a great experience.
Windows World was a very friendly and professional organization to work with from the first contact by phone to the excellent finished job. I would highly recommend then to anyone.
As discussed before moving forward with the order, Alan clearly assured me that all 22 windows would be installed using nail fins and sealed with flashing tape. These were non-negotiable requirements that I reiterated multiple times. However, only 4 of the windows had nail fins, and no flashing tape was applied on any of them—despite our agreement and being charged for the nail fins on all the windows
Beyond that, the first installation crew caused significant property damage:
My carpet—installed approximately six weeks prior at a cost of $9,000+ —was snagged in 18 separate locations, all directly in front of the windows they worked on. Several of these rooms remain unoccupied and untouched since move-in, clearly showing that no one besides their crew accessed them.
I’ve had five separate individuals inspect the carpet before, during, and after move-in, and there were no snags until after their team’s work.
The second crew that worked in the carpeted living room was able to install those 3 windows without causing any damage whatsoever.
Additionally, the first crew moved my security cameras that were in my master bedroom and facing my master bath so they could sort through bathroom cabinets and take whatever they wanted, they shuffled around my nightstands, unplugged other devices so they could use my phone chargers without asking and they took food from my kitchen and went through my fridge as evidenced by the caulking residue that was left on the fridge handles—completely unacceptable behavior in any professional setting and areas of concern Geral and Alan were both notified of via phone call, voice message and text.
When I contacted them about the carpet damage, they assured me we would come to a resolution and I'd be compensated fairly. That has not happened. In addition, their team broke the windowsill ledge in the kitchen nook during installation.
Hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with my entire life, and I was a project manager for a construction company and had never experienced such a tactless company such as this. I had to threaten to go to the Better Business Bureau and any other state licensing agencies with a formal complaint in order to be compensated for the damage that they caused to my house and they still never apologized for the first crew trying to steal things out of my bathroom.
Sales experience was good. Windows install experience was not as good. The installation crew was great once they showed up. The scheduling of the install and communication about it wasn't as good and caused frustration and issues on my, the customer's, end.
Professional job. Great clean up.
Window World of Dallas/Ft. Worth did a really good job installing the windows, except for killing some of my plants in the window box, but I guess they could not help that.
We found nails all over our yard and driveway. One of the workers took a Shiner IPA beer out of our garage fridge, took one sip , then hid it in the garage by our lawn mower. That’s not a huge deal but now I worry if anything else was taken…
another was in our primary bedroom bathroom for a long time. it didn’t occur to me that they would go in my personal bathroom. I found huge chunks of concrete and mortar all over the inside and outside which makes me worry about damage to the house. Ive had an issue with a few of the upper windows sliding down, so I have to get on a step ladder to push them up, so I can lock the lower window. No one spoke much English, so communicate was an issue.
The gentleman who came was very polite and kind.
Salesman more knowledgeable.
First language English supervisor on job site during complete installation.
We had the best experience from the start, including the sales representative, communication from dispatch and the installation team. You deserve 5 stars because you earned it!
The door when it came in wasn't perfect, it has a flaw in it.
I am still working with them to try to make things right.
The salesman was unimpressive from the start but led to complete incompetence. My order was not submitted on time caused huge delay. I was not called with status and had to keep calling. I am pleased with the windows, the installation and the financing options.
The crew was professional and very polite. Everything was spotless afterwards.
Poor communication & quality of work was not up to par.
If I know anyone looking to buy windows I’ll be sure to mention Window World
Good job reasonably priced
I liked my sale person, I liked the communication I had when the windows were received, the installation date set and how quickly they came out to install my windows.
Quick and easy! Worked with me during an unexpected event.
