There was damage done to the house (interior and exterior) during the installation. I have notified your local franchise and they agreed to pay for the repair. I still don't have a resolution. If we can get this completed in a timely manner, I will not resort to social media. I have pictures of the damage upon request.

All members of installation team knew what to do & got on with their jobs

Canceled my appointment 90 minutes before scheduled to start. Had all blinds and furniture removed, and couldn’t put it all back and wasn’t safe to leave behind, so missed Thanksgiving with my family. Just very disappointing. Energy bill did not drop.

I like Alan; this is the second home he has handled for me. All the crew members were nice! However, I did not like that in this installation, one window was measured incorrectly due to the outside house trim. I also did not like that we waited 25 days to get the same too-large window installed. There was an appointment that Window World scheduled with me and then a no-show. My mother told me that during the 25 days of waiting, she felt cold air coming from where they attempted to install the window but had to replace the existing one. I certainly did not appreciate that there was no adjustment in price because of the delay and missed appointment. What I would have liked is the same urgency used to collect the final payment to install that wrong-sized window. The number of calls, texts, and emails left a bad taste with me. We have a third house, and I will think about whether we should choose Window World for that installation.

Easy process. High quality sliding glass door at a low price. I don't think a higher priced place would have given us anything different, so it's a smart move. Energy efficiency matches much more expensive door, and it feels super durable.

The salesman said install would be in 4 to 6 weeks, and didn't turn the order in until 5 weeks after we paid. We waited 12 weeks for install.

We are not impressed with the windows. We were sold on the fact that our electricity bills would be much lower and the sound from outside would be greatly reduced. We got the windows in early October when it was still really warm so we expected this month's bill to be really low since November was very mild and we didn't use the AC much, but the bill was actually higher than normal. And the sound from outside somehow seems to be even louder than before. Also the windows don't open very much - the bottom half on most windows (and the screen) is much smaller than upper half, which is ugly when the windows are open and inconvenient. That is my fault for not looking up every single window size, I guess.
