Very pro
Windows World was a very friendly and professional organization to work with from the first contact by phone to the excellent finished job. I would highly recommend then to anyone.
As discussed before moving forward with the order, Alan clearly assured me that all 22 windows would be installed using nail fins and sealed with flashing tape. These were non-negotiable requirements that I reiterated multiple times. However, only 4 of the windows had nail fins, and no flashing tape was applied on any of them—despite our agreement and being charged for the nail fins on all the windows
Beyond that, the first installation crew caused significant property damage:
My carpet—installed approximately six weeks prior at a cost of $9,000+ —was snagged in 18 separate locations, all directly in front of the windows they worked on. Several of these rooms remain unoccupied and untouched since move-in, clearly showing that no one besides their crew accessed them.
I’ve had five separate individuals inspect the carpet before, during, and after move-in, and there were no snags until after their team’s work.
The second crew that worked in the carpeted living room was able to install those 3 windows without causing any damage whatsoever.
Additionally, the first crew moved my security cameras that were in my master bedroom and facing my master bath so they could sort through bathroom cabinets and take whatever they wanted, they shuffled around my nightstands, unplugged other devices so they could use my phone chargers without asking and they took food from my kitchen and went through my fridge as evidenced by the caulking residue that was left on the fridge handles—completely unacceptable behavior in any professional setting and areas of concern Geral and Alan were both notified of via phone call, voice message and text.
When I contacted them about the carpet damage, they assured me we would come to a resolution and I'd be compensated fairly. That has not happened. In addition, their team broke the windowsill ledge in the kitchen nook during installation.
Hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with my entire life, and I was a project manager for a construction company and had never experienced such a tactless company such as this. I had to threaten to go to the Better Business Bureau and any other state licensing agencies with a formal complaint in order to be compensated for the damage that they caused to my house and they still never apologized for the first crew trying to steal things out of my bathroom.
Sales experience was good. Windows install experience was not as good. The installation crew was great once they showed up. The scheduling of the install and communication about it wasn't as good and caused frustration and issues on my, the customer's, end.
Never followed up on errors with install. Never received callbacks or anything. Very disappointed with experience.
I really like the windows so far. My only complaint was the installation crew was a bit messy. I found silicone on my walls, picture and several big pieces of concrete underneath my bed. I think they could’ve been a bit more cleaner than that.
16 weeks to get the windows and only after I kept calling so there is a definite lack of communication. The windows weren't measured correctly and apparently they are not equipped to handle a patio door. Also, they have been to the house way too many times to correct mistakes. Now I have a sliding door that does not open. At least my old one opened and closed.
Fast response and great work in the past.
Professional job. Great clean up.
My door is unfinished and no one will call me back to tell me what’s going on. It’s been over two weeks.
Unresolved issues on back windows installation
The door frame is damaged
Everything was great. The salesman Jimmy knew everything about the products, took measurements, gave me accurate information about the process. Told me it would take about a month once windows were ordered for them to arrive. Helped me get financing for the project. Windows arrived almost exactly a month after ordered. The installers were also fabulous. Did not make a mess, were polite, did an excellent install. Picked up after themselves.
The salesman did not tell me the opening would be smaller
Window World of Dallas/Ft. Worth did a really good job installing the windows, except for killing some of my plants in the window box, but I guess they could not help that.
Personal service, hardworking meticulous installers!
We found nails all over our yard and driveway. One of the workers took a Shiner IPA beer out of our garage fridge, took one sip , then hid it in the garage by our lawn mower. That’s not a huge deal but now I worry if anything else was taken…
another was in our primary bedroom bathroom for a long time. it didn’t occur to me that they would go in my personal bathroom. I found huge chunks of concrete and mortar all over the inside and outside which makes me worry about damage to the house. Ive had an issue with a few of the upper windows sliding down, so I have to get on a step ladder to push them up, so I can lock the lower window. No one spoke much English, so communicate was an issue.
We were impressed/more than satisfied with every step of the process in purchasing new windows and doors!
I am thoroughly pleased with the initial presentation, competitive pricing, and overall timing of delivery and installation.
The windows look amazing, Robin was fantastic at getting everything going for me. He wasn’t pushy or demanding. He took care of everything and I’m thrilled with the installation. They were kind and friendly and did a thorough walk through and touched up anything I asked.
I appreciate the overall experience, the salesman and work crew. They all presented themselves with integrity, are hard working, and commitment.
Mismeasued my windows twice which lead to a 6 week delay to moving into my house. Completely unacceptable for a company of this size.
