Our overall experience has made us reluctant to recommend Window World.

All went well except the installation required two visits. The install team was unaware that some of the windows were on the third floor requiring scaffolding. This caused us to have to make an additional trip from CT to FL.

We are not impressed with the windows. We were sold on the fact that our electricity bills would be much lower and the sound from outside would be greatly reduced. We got the windows in early October when it was still really warm so we expected this month's bill to be really low since November was very mild and we didn't use the AC much, but the bill was actually higher than normal. And the sound from outside somehow seems to be even louder than before. Also the windows don't open very much - the bottom half on most windows (and the screen) is much smaller than upper half, which is ugly when the windows are open and inconvenient. That is my fault for not looking up every single window size, I guess.

The windows themselves are aesthetically very pretty functionally. The salesman demonstrated easy to open windows said that windows could be opened and close with one finger. This was not true. They’re awful.Customer communication is very poor. Installers left a huge mess outside the house broken glass everywhere. Drywall dust everywhere. The windows were left very dirty. We were not given an installation time installers just showed up without a phone call or an email claimed they did not have our phone number or email address yet. I have received emails and phone calls from them in the past.

No pressure sales. Good quality windows. Quality installation and thorough cleanup.
