Subject: Re: Window Nation Quality Assurance
Brian,
I wish I could have given a 5 in every category, but I don't feel that would be accurate. I wish that someone would have listened to me that I was very concerned about the measurement of the windows. When the man came to do the final measurement he admitted he was hung over from celebrating his birthday the weekend before. I took personal measurements and they were different. I then called into Window nation to get the final measurements. I told them that I was concerned about the measurements. NO RESPONSE. When the installation crew arrived I told them I had a concern. Only one man spoke English and I don't believe he understood what I was saying. I am going to attempt to add a picture of the gap in the windows. You tell me if that would be acceptable in YOUR house? I had twelve windows installed and they all had gaps. They attempted to fill those gaps with the expandable material which I do not find acceptable for that size gap. The windows can not be opened with just one finger as shown by the original salesman.
The next issue would be that the crew did not reinstall the shades and shutters as they said they would. When my wife questioned this they reinstalled the shutters and tore up the wood work. This causes another problem. I will attempt to add a picture. I reinstalled the shades myself. They tore up the shutter wood terribly.
One last issue. The installation crew were all Mexican. They all spoke Spanish. They assumed that neither my wife or I understood Spanish. I put on music that they thanked me for. I had it playing on both levels of my house for them. My daughter and her friends came over to my house with young children to swim. What the men were saying in Spanish was not acceptable. When they went to reinstall the shutter the man said in Spanish how cheaply built our house was. My wife replied in Spanish how expensive everything was especially the shutters. They finally stopped talking!
When someone calls you a “punta” in Spanish, they are using it as a derogatory term to insult or demean you. The term is often used to refer to someone as a “prostitute” or a “whore.” It is important to understand that this term is highly offensive and should not be used in any situation.
I would not recommend Window Nation to anyone.
Sincerely,
Thomas Teschner
Quick response to inquiry about quotes and fast quality work
Well, I was under the impression that your installers worked for wn. Not independent contractors.

The installation and sales appointment were timely and professional, everything in between was horrible. There was no communication until scheduling. Our appointment was in March with installation setup for May. Had we not called to check on our order in late April, we may not have gotten our instillation. It finally was available a month after we were advised it would be. Installation was mid June. We went with Window Nation due to their available turn around time. Would have went with STL Window had we known it would be this long.
After receiving 3 other bids, we opted to give Windows Nation a chance. The quality of their products are right up there with the industry's best, but a much more economical option. From the sales rep, to the measuring tech to the installers, each and every individual was cordial, thorough, and courteous. We love our new patio doors, main entry door, and all of our windows.
Customer service was great
We have mixed feelings about Window Nation. On one hand, the window itself was good, and the installation was good, but the internal communication between the salesmen and installer was terrible.
Crew efficient polite and thorough
They were very courteous, cleaned up well, and were very professional.
Great quality windows john and Josh were great install
Read above statement
Price is always an issue, I would have liked all the plastic shaving cleaned out of the windows after installation
We absolutely love our new windows.everything went very smoothly!
The install process was insane. When they made mistakes, it took months to fix it. I had gaps on my doors for weeks on end. It was a headache to get anybody to come out and fix it correctly.
My windows were installed last week and I'm thrilled. I was very impressed with the crew that did the installation. Jon and his crew worked great as a team and individually. They went above and beyond what was expected. It was wonderful to see people put pride in their work!
Our new windows are fabulous!
Windows done right!
The service and warranty are horrible.
Smooth transaction; great install and service!!
I already have recommended them to a friend.
I love the bottoms on the side for air circulation where no one could enter into the house. The windows are so clear.
I had a very good experience with Window Nation. The workers were very clean, and it was exceptional work. They cleaned almost everything, it was like having a house cleaner here.
absolutely not . the work isnt completed they have been to my house 3x but yet i still have to pay my payments
Your company was recommended highly by a coworker and we will certainly do the same.
