The windows are exactly as I expected for quality in the price range we chose. The price was great and remained within our remodeling budget. The windows look great and are a wonderful upgrade to our 1970s home. They still have the same style as the old windows (which is what we wanted), but now they're brand new, bright white, and much easier to clean. The installation crew was very efficient, and explained everything as they installed the windows. The gentleman doing the custom trim was very good! The new windows along with the new trim made our house look fresh again. Inside the house it is much quieter and easier to keep control of the temperature. It is also great to now be able to open windows (with screens) at any time to enjoy the nice fall weather. We did have an issue with a screen that customer service resolved within a few days with no issues at all.
They were very thorough and clean, the windows look great!
My rating is mosly because of lack of communication - This is a large ticket item with an equally large deposit. I totally understand that there were supply shortages, but if orders are delayed, I expect to be notified.
The sales rep did a good job selling us the product, but post sales interactions were very limited and one sided. We had to send email requests and texts to get any information, often with no response. We finally had to communicate with another sales rep to help us to get our order completed.
Team was professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable about the entire process and made sure the job was done right.
I wish we had been better informed that changing from our home's original wood windows to vinyl would affect the window appearance/view. I think the trim around the windows is wider and made all our windows feel smaller. We also had a casement window installed - again with the thicker edges our off-centered sink looks worse than ever and a window divider is directly in line of sight. While we understood that the casement window would not have a deep ledge, we did not realize it would be flush with no ledge at all. Basically we feel like we should have asked a lot more questions, and started with a much smaller order because it did not turn out exactly as we had hoped. Also installers left some debris and messed up some landscaping.
They were efficient, cordial, and very proper. I like them!
Maybe. WN did a friend's windows and they were great, I did not have the same experience. My original appointment was cancelled at the last minute, then the first installation had some questions and was held up when I had some questions. They were sort of resolved, but instead of returning to work I was told one of the installers was very sick. (Thank you for coming to my house.) There was confusion as to the time of the second installation, and I explained I had a hard stop at 4:00. They showed up later than expected, but assured me they had time to get the interior work done before I had to leave--of course they did not. Luckily I had a friend that could come over so that I could leave. Even then they were not finished when I returned. So I waited for that, and when they finally did finish I was handed an invoice and asked to pay it while they were waiting to leave--despite the fact I hadn't even seen the work yet. And, the inital questions were supposed to be resolved with replacing some additional windows, and I have been unable to get a quote on that. I will probably go to another company.
Window nation is very professional in every aspect from sale to installation.the crew they sent to in stall my windows was polite, professional and did a wonderful job.they even cleaned up the old windows.I would definitely recommend window nation to anyone looking for awesome windows and professional company
The windows themselves are fine; the screens, however were defective and some needed to be replaced. There was no project manager to oversee the project once it was completed by the crew. There was a language communication problem so some questions were not answered to my satisfaction.
They did an excellent job.
They did an excellent job. Always friendly and clean up after themselves.
Excellent product! The whole process went smoothly. The installation was great!
the windows themselves are great but the instalation process fell far short of what I was told would be done,no spray foam on most of windows, they placed the new windows on top of rotted wood and then when I complained they said they had a "special tool " to remove the wood after instalation, wich of couse they did not,the metal flashing was great and all the windows appear to be sealed completely, when I pointed out that they wernt useing spray foam they said it would be a waste to use it on any gap that was 1/4 inch or less, the gap I was looking at appeared to be about a 1/2 inch
Timely quality service.
All windows on the sunny side on two floors were changed for me, there were no errors in dimensions, the installation of all windows was done quickly - in one day.
I referred a customer to you and never received my $250.00 coupon.
I was very disappointed with their scheduling and cleanliness.
While the pre-installation processes were seamless, the install day itself was rather brusque, without clear details on who to expect for the install, as well as installers running into issues with a few of the windows, causing them to leave several windows with scratched frames, some not fitting as exactly as desired, and leaving trash in our yard (an empty cigarette box and a pile of nails in our compost bin)
Overall, we had a positive experience with Window Nation. After committing to a portion of the deal, the communication and follow-up from my Sales Rep has been pretty poor but the product and install experience has been great. I wish the pricing model was a little more straightforward - the starting point for "negotiation" was extraordinarily high, then they apply a number of discounts to get to a much more reasonable quote (i.e., consistent with other vendors).
The best thing about the process was how quickly the installation was.
They took two or three extra months. Otherwise the guy that came here was fine and the installation was good. I wasn't pleased with the delays and how long it took to get info.
I love what they did. This was the best investment I have ever made!
I have already noticed a difference in savings from choosiquality windows. Very satisfied with the windows.
They were efficient and answered my questions. They were also neat and professional.
Excellent sales pitch and presentation, high quality products, timely and thorough installation.
