They have been very good and patient with everything.
We have worked with other builders / renovation contractors and Golden Rule Builders have been more thorough and more attentive than any of the others we have worked with.
Building with GRB has really made life easier and more enjoyable. From design through construction, the GRB staff has been warm and supportive. The process of building is a challenge, but we could rely on GRB to help guide and get the job done. Most important is the warranty period. Rather than being left being on your own with your new house, the GRB team stands ready to assist from the smallest to the biggest details. If something needs to be corrected, they get it done.
They take pride in the work they do.
The whole process was honest and upfront and the team knows what they are doing. They were true to their word and schedule through the whole build.
Great communication, timely, friendly and professional.
job was managedvery well
Our project manager was not easy to work with. His communication was subpar. When asking questions we were treated as if we were an irritation. He was not on site 50% of the time. Many mistakes were made that caused serious delays and inconvenience from lack of communication and absence.
If I had to do this again I am not sure I would pay the extra money to use this company. They promised above and beyond service but we were constantly told how expensive and important other projects were. Maybe if we spent a few million dollars instead of one we would be treated better.
It has been our experience that Perez has accommodated us with any problem that we have had with any of our projects. They have been there to correct EVERTYTHING - even as long as 2 years later. We are VERY happy with all of their work.
Perez Design/Build Remodel was very professional.
I had a great experience. They did a super job. They addressed all issues. Tom Hamilton did a super job.
Paragon has done several projects for us - we are always confident of the quality of their work, communication throughout the project, resolving any issues that arise, and an overall satisfaction with the completed project.
Concern For Needs - Zach has been great to work with! He’s very personable, knowledgeable and fun to work with. He has great suggestions on enhancements that we hadn’t thought of.
Follow Up - Great communication and response.
Professional & Organized - Always!
Communication - Absolutely!
Installation Crew Professionalism - Great crew - we always enjoy working with Joana, John and Matt.
I am impressed with the complete "service" that GRB provides. From design choices, product choices, and meetings for discussion, GRB excels. Garry, the foreman for the project, is hands-on. He is here daily to supervise and work. He answers all questions and is responsive to our living situation.
good people. knowledgeable and skilled. great to work with
As noted below, we give 5 stars for the workmanship and professionalism provided by Leo and his team. They are all really nice caring people. But I would recommend to a friend that they start with an independent designer to get clarity around their wants and needs for their kitchen FIRST, and then get with Leo and his team. Many of our wants and needs were not uncovered by Leo's team and this led to either paying a lot of money for things we did NOT want, or wasting time and delaying the completion of our kitchen by not ordering things up front that we DID want.
For example, our pull out lower corner cabinet had an obvious unusable design the moment we saw it. We were just shown the CAD and told "it's behind this door and pulls out" - never shown what it looked like until it was installed. As well, had we been told our pots had to be of a certain height in order to use the peg boards we would have never ordered them since they were unusable.
Conversely, if we had been asked, "do you want a lazy susan in the upper corner cabinet?" We would have said "yes" immediately. Or, as also occurred, on our own, but too late in the process to do easily, we saw you could have an in drawer charging station for your ipad and iphones. We would have asked to put this in up front had we been made aware of this.
A basic suggestion for improvement would be to develop some sort of checklist that could be used with future clients at the first meeting. E.g "what things do you like about your existing kitchen that you want to ensure you maintain?" "what are the 3 top things you want to achieve with your new dream kitchen?" Would suggest showing pictures of kitchen's in terms of "latest features" for pull out drawers, cookie sheet stacking racks, etc. with accompanying check list to firm up wants, needs, priorities, etc. Wish we had been offered this. Who wouldn't? Even if the client was working with a designer, having the Leo Lantz team take this step to ensure alignment on wants and needs up front would go a long way toward enhancing the entire customer experience.
The entire process was handled professionally from beginning to end.
