Since its inception by co founders William Barr and Michael Strmac in 2002, Universal Windows Direct has lived by the philosophy of CANEI - "Constant and Never Ending Improvement". This philosophy holds true in all aspects of our business, from sales and marketing to installation and service and has catapulted UWD from a small, local home improvement company to one of the largest exterior remodeling companies in the country. Every one of our employees strives continuously to be the best in the business at what they do and provide our customers with only the highest levels of sales, service, and support. The only problem I had that there was a defect in my picture window. They are going to get it replaced hopefully in a timely matter it just seems like quite a hassle to rip out this window and put a new one in, but I guess it is what it is. I’ll let you know how I feel as soon as the replacement window is installed properly and the window does not have any defects.

Universal Windows are the best Windows ever. I've tried 2 other companies before UW and can say for sure the they are nothing compared to IT'S top quality windows. No cold air feel to touch nor easing into my room like the other companies' windows i had installed. Installer Jeff was the best. He arrived on time and did an amazing job alone by himself. No fuss and very clean. Thank you Universal Windows. I will be using you again for my doors and other windows. Credit approval was very smooth transaction. Thanks again.

The install looks good but to get to that point was a fiasco. Forgotten item and improper sizing along with breaking of large storm window in the flower bed and at the end of the driveway and sidewalk. Still picking up shards after 1/2 hour shop vac session, among other things...

Your product is wonderful, the service people are wonderful as well - what i am unhappy with is the fact that i was sold (and paid top dollar) for a program that included everything - meaning i did not have to pay for service. Now, Universal wants to charge a "trip" charge. Those of us that were sold an all inclusive program should be grandfathered in. In addition, the girl i spoke to on the phone kept reading me her script instead of talking like a normal person when i voiced my concerns with these changes. Unprofessional as a stand up company.
