Waited entirely too long for windows to be installed. Then once they finally came in, two were broken during install. Still have not heard as to when the broken ones will be replaced. It is pretty unprofessional for a company too expect customers to pay on a service when that service has not been completed. We have been paying for months now for a job that is yet to be finished. The company however, has no problem having their sales representatives call inquiring about other projects we would like done. Here’s an idea, how about you finish the one that’s been started and the one that we’ve been paying for. So the answer to your question is no, no based off of our experience up to this point, we would not recommend this company to others.

The quality of the screens in these new replacement windows can only be referred to as low income housing appropriate. The contract agreed to was for half screens. Installation brought whole window screens, two totally bent with screens ripped, three others with screens ripped out of sides of screen, and none properly fitting the windows. Bugs are coming in as if there are no screens. My constant attempts to get satisfaction are going to customer service which is solving nothing. Universal Windows basically sold me on a lie! They don’t even have half screens for my new windows! They only have junk full screens!

Our original quote was in June and project will not be completed until November (so we’re told at least). The workers left trash and cigarette butts all over our property. Threw our old windows from the second story onto our newly painted deck. 2 windows arrived broken, we were told 2 weeks of them to be replaced. It has now been over 2 months since that date of install and the broken windows are not scheduled to be replaced until November. That is 5 months!! We have a broken window on our first floor in the front of our house which is a safety hazard and a broken window in our baby’s bedroom. The installers were rude and pushy, demanding I pay the complete price even though the job was not complete. I’m so grateful that I did not as I am still waiting. Customer service is terrible. Communication is terrible. We would never recommend or use again.

Universal Windows direct removed some bars covering the rear windows of my home leaving burnt Marks, they also installed one window that had a small crack. That crack has now spread it throughout that entire glass, they also installed the screen to my picture window and it has a hole in it. This insulation was done on September 16, 2020 and I have been calling leaving messages to have the cracked window replaced and the screen replaced. I have even reached out to them on Monday, September 27 and they did not respond to my message I also called once again on Wednesday, September 30. Again no response back from Universal Windows direct, I am truly disappointed with the services that I have received from Universal Windows direct and I will not recommend this company to anyone. This contract that I signed with the Universal Windows direct has a lifetime warranty and the company has not return my calls
