The Board Store lived up to the high expectations that I had for them.

The sales person knew the product well. He made recommendations for our project as we were changing the shape and size of the windows. We were home during the install, and the installers were pleasant, friendly, and explained to us what they would be doing throughout the day. The installer stayed late to finish the project in one day, even though they thought it was going to take two days. We have used The Board Store for three different projects and have been totally happy with all of them.

We have a whole new bathroom from the floor, walls, ceiling, window. The bathroom is beautiful. It is easier to use (more electrical and efficient plug outlets) as well as cupboard space. It is healthier with a new fan system as well. Love it!

They are outstanding, and very professional. I have nothing to complain about. I am a tool and die maker by trade and may be more critical than some people. They were flawless.

From everything we read and researched we knew what we were getting and we were not disappointed

I would be much happier if the shower heads had some water pressure. Our old ones had way more force than what we have now. We still have one in a basement bathroom and it still has that pressure - so it's not the water pressure in the house, it's the shower heads.

The Board Store was very easy to work with from start to finish. After our first project was completed, we were so happy with the finished project. When it was time to do the next project, we knew were going to contact The Board Store again. And again we are very pleased with the finished project!

professionalism, ease to work with, friendly staff and crew

Needed better communication on timing schedule. Good thing I work from home so I was usually there. Needed a better sales demonstration of material to be used, first one showed me basically nothing. I would also have liked to see the actual building plans to know how high it would be underneath the landing, etc. They also left two concrete slabs afterwards that I thought should at least have been laid flat (one was leaning on my foundation & I couldn't lift it and the other was on the other side of landing and way too heavy to move) so I could walk on them instead of the muddy hole that was left when they were done. Part of that mud problem was the snow and rain that occurred during the project. At least they used plywood to work on back there as that helped somewhat with the mud. There was a sidewalk to the alley underneath the grass & weeds when they arrived and it has now disappeared. They also left a couple deep ruts leading to the alley that could have been smoothed out a bit.

Quality product and workmanship

Our sales rep Gene was always wonderful to work with and made great product recommendations. The men doing the installation were very professional and enjoyable to work with. Last but not least, the products are of excellent quality.

I really appreciated Anna Krause, the salesperson, who helped me select the type of counter and backsplash; she was very knowledgeable. The installers of the backsplash were very helpful and used a tarp to put down in the entryway in the area they were working so they would not track in mud and dirt, which you don't see often; that was a nice thing to do.

We had another contractor come in to look at the job before we called on the Board Store. This contractor does very good work but we were told the project could take months. The workers were all coordinated to come in when they were needed, go at it hard and get the project timely done That means so much! And, we had an estimate that was the actual cost of the project so we knew what we would be spending.

I tell you, I had five different quotes on the prices, and I'm not saying that they were the cheapest, but the difference between the other people and the Board Store with the quality they have, I would say definitely they are the best around. I mean, they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. They were very honest with me. So I can only say that if I ever bought a different house and I needed any windows or doors, I wouldn't even bother to go anywhere else. Because this group. Even if I have the opportunity to get my bathroom done, which I do intend to get done within the next couple of years, I would definitely not call anybody else. I would call the Board Store. They guided me and told me what they felt was the best way. If you've seen the job that they did, I've shown it to both my son-in-law's. One who has built his own house and one who has just remodeled his. They think the job was terrific. I have a son who had the Board Store put in their windows probably 15 years ago, and he's still satisfied with his. So it's just a great company. They got a great thing going. To be able to give the quality they give at the price that they give is just great. All the estimates I had, I will say the one company was a much bigger company, and they were about $30 cheaper than the Board Store. But I went with the Board Store because I have a lot of faith in them, and they never proved me wrong
