I was reassured that the issue was going to be resolved quickly. To date that has been the case. Personnel were courteous and respectful. They listened to my concerns
I feel the production manager or quality control manager should have checked the job after the installation. I’m definitely not as happy as I thought I would be. The installers were very nice, polite, professional, and cleaned probably as well as they normally do. They let me know the windows would not be a professional cleaning, telling me Statewide used to provide that but had too many complaints so they decided to stop. As expensive as these windows are there should be a professional window cleaning service clean after installation is completed.
The salesman had said all the work would be performed outside, no need to do anything on the inside. I would never have purchased these windows if the salesman had told me the mess it would make and I definitely would not have put up my Christmas decorations until afterwards. I was not told how difficult it would be to clean the windows. Since I have shutters on 18 of the 21 windows it is very difficult to get my hand in to unlatch the screens. On one window, the screen will not latch. There are some windows the screen has a gap on the right side. If the screens are supposed to fit in a slot not all of them do.
A window on the west side the right window latch will not close and the other window on the west side the right latch does not work. I feel the installers should have discovered this. There are several other problems I discovered when I began trying to clean the clear, sticky stuff on the windows. If it’s on the outside of the window, I can’t get the screen off to clean it. If it’s on the inside of the window, it smears. I’m only using water and not sure what I should be using. I’ve been trying to clean the caulking on the bottom wood frame of the windows and on the inside of the shutter frame. I was told the type of caulking used cannot be done with a clean, smooth edge. I would need to paint over it. I discovered I will also need to paint over the places the paint was chipped. Some of the windows the seal is not as tight on one side as the other. There’s also a portion of the cover at the top of the inside railing that’s missing on both sides of the window.
I’m sure I have overlooked some issues but I haven’t finished cleaning all of the windows. I’m not a spring chicken and this is not what I wanted to spend my time doing during the Christmas holidays.
If I had known I should have gone over every area of each window after the installers finished I would never had signed any papers of satisfaction. I need to know the process to get someone to come and see what I am so disappointed with and what I need to do to get the many problems corrected.
Installation was quick and neatly done. The tub and its surround are perfect looking.
While the quality of the construction pleased us, the price was much too expensive. Get additional bids beforehand.
It was a great experience from the time that I worked with the sales rep, to the tile installers, to the glass installer, and the job supervisor. Everyone was nice, polite, and cleaned up the remodel area every day. The Supervisor made periodic checks to make sure the job was done right and that I was satified with the work.
I received upfront profound counseling through out the purchasing and especially the installation process which also included the post installation process. At issue was whether or not we were going move the shower glass closer to the back of the walk-in tub so as to include what could have been a much desired pre-installed tiled bench inside inside the shower. As it turned out, it simply was not doable without significant risks to all parties to do! The advise given by Caleb throughout the entire process (color choice, movement of the shower glass, choice of acrylic behind the tub) was spot on!
Additionally, a loss of power issue arose 2 days following the installation. The project manager was contacted (after hours) who immediately agreed to contact the electricians who arrived first thing the next morning and the problem was corrected with in an hour!
On time - job completion in timely fashion.
The shower was for my wife and she loves it.
The installation crew arrived early, were courteous, efficient and completed our project in one day. We very much appreciated that they were conscientious about cleaning up the work debris and hauling everything away.
The installer were very helpful
Proce was way too high
I would recommend Statewide but warn them that they aren't cheap. However, the quality is great and their work excellent.
Customer Service was excellent, Statewide worked with us as we had trips planned in the middle of the installation time, they went beyond to accommodate us.
